I'm about halfway through 'The Last Sultan' right now. It's a fascinating look at the history of some of the great musicians/ groups. Also a neat peek into the workings of a record label (specifically, Atlantic with Ahmet and crew, as Blue noted.) Haven't made it to the chapter that covers KR yet.

The site has always been online, however the updates dried up for a couple of years as I took a hiatus from it. However the site is now back to the good old days and getting updated regularly.

BTW this is John, just in case anyone was wondering!
