K.I.D. The wife and I can't wait till tommorrow night at the new Huntington Center in Toledo. We were on a cruise when the tickets went on sale and had to pay out the gazoo for tickets on the floor when we got back, but we know you'll make it well worth it. Hoping you play 'Lay It On Me", that song just frickin pumps me up! I love your problem cause you can't go wrong with anything you play. Here's to ya brother, see you tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Don't let FM104 WIOT blow smoke up your ass cause they never play you on the radio.

Just want to say, I've seen you 3 times. Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga TN. Your shows ARE the best going. If I had to pick 1 song for you to add it would be Black Bob..Love that song and the 3 times I saw you, you didn't do that one. I am in no way complaining though, the shows still kicked major ass!!! It's just that I think that would be a good addition but what in the world would you possibly cut, I mean, you said it best..That's a good problem to have, so many great songs to choose from. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see ya do every song but I am realistic and know you can't do that :) just sayin'

KID, the saginaw show on Friday was incredible. We were 4th row back. The show was the best I have ever seen with the exception of your birthday bash that is! I loved how you went from your older stuff to the new stuff and then back again. I could have and would have stayed there all night if you would have! Just keep as much of your new stuff in there as you can because I think it is as wonderful as the older stuff. If I could offer any criticism it would be that I would have like to see a bit more of TBT out there rocking with you. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAN TAKE THAT SHIRT OFF! All of your songs from Born Free are great don't leave any of them out! Rock on from Au Gres' biggest rock fan!

Hey KR, can't wait for you to "Head Out West" this summer! I have turned my husband, kids, nieces and nephews ALL into big Kid Rock Fans! Been to many of your concerts all over the US and you definitely NEVER disappoint. I am so thrilled your catalog has grown to include so many great songs, so like you said a "good problem" to have so many to choose from! You can never go wrong with Only God Knows Why, and Blue Jeans & a Rosary is one of my faves that I have never heard you do in concert. All of the new album would be a treat to hear as well. Although you need no extras, my husband always enjoys when you have the poles and dancers up! And I always love your different slide shows, so looking forward to one this summer based on the first couple of shows you have done. I wish I was wealthy, as I would travel around the world and never miss a KR concert or cruise, but for now just having your CD in my car to listen to all of them every day on my long commute, and catching you on an awards show here and there, and looking forward to seeing you live in Colorado will have to do my friend! ROCK ON!

I bought tickets for my husband for christmas thats all he wanted. He insisted the money was worth it. I have to say, I was not disappointed. You are truly a talented musician and an amazing entertainer. I will definitely be there for the next show in Michigan. It was awesome and couldn't have been any better. You have so many great songs so its hard to pick, the only way it could've been better was to hear you play all night:) Happy 40th Birthday and enjoy the rest of your tour!!! Saginaw,MI

I was there Saturday night, 7th row seats. Best show ever. The ONLY way you could've done better Kid, would be to go all NIGHT Long... we can take it. LOL. The folks from Fenton and Lake Ponemah say "HEY". :)

Can’t wait for you to make it the beautiful Pacific Northwest ~ maybe The Gorge Amphitheatre late summer? I am also an old school fan as well the new stuff. Would love to hear “I Am” and “Only God Knows Why” ~ mix in “Lonely Road of Faith”, “Midnight Train to Memphis”, “Jackson, Mississippi”, duet with Sheryl on “Run Off to LA”, and “Flyin High” with Zac Brown. And DEFINITELY rip off that shirt at some point and show us those gorgeous tats! My boyfriend and I aren’t much into concerts these days, but we ABSOLUTELY plan to see you again ~ I follow you on Facebook and obviously here as well. So glad you shared your birthday with all your fans and that it was wonderful for you!?!

I went to the Saturday show in Saginaw. It was my first concert I went to of u and it was awesome. I have a handicap son due to an auto acident 11 years ago and he is a huge fan of u and has wanted to go to one of your concerts for a long time, so I thought I would surpirse him and try to get tickets. It sure was hard getting the tickets but I did get them on my last try. We are hoping we will get a chance to go again to see u perform. You were great!! Happy Birthday! GOD BLESS

Happy Birthday Kid!! 40 comes once in a life time. Thanks for the good times. It was a great celebration in Detroit! I had the time of my life as I'm sure you did! Even though it was your bday, you gave Detroit the greatest gift of all-YOU!!! Keep on rockin! Always stay true. Always stay Detroit. Love you babe. PS. I think it would be a great idea to put out a Happy 40th Detroit Born Free concert dvd. I would buy it in a heart beat!

Now I find out where everyone is posting! Better late than never. Friday night was awesome. We had such a great time. I can't believe how long you played and how quickly the time flew by! My comments are going to be repeats of some of the 342 things already mentioned..I think you can get away with replacing 'Picture' with 'Collide'.I also think an acoustic version of Lonely Road of Faith would be so great!! I can see it showing up after 'Slow my Roll'. You on a barstool with guitar and lonely spotlight(s). I can already hear the audience chorusing the 'whoo hoohoohoo, whoohoooooooo...'. You can get away with it..your music has evolved along with all of us and we will continue to follow where you lead! I love the positiveness and spiritual themes I am hearing from these last 2 albums (I'm old school, we still call music collections albums.) I liked that you moved around a lot and didn't spend too much time in one place on the stage-your fans like to see ya! Yes, rip the shirt off for Bawditdaba, give us a thrill, we don't get many! You are probably sick of playing Bawitdaba and Cowboy, but we aren't sick of hearing them. You leaving them out would be like Bon Jovi not playing 'Wanted'--it's sacrilegious to think about! Shout outs to the TBT's would be nice..they are really playing TIGHT!! I'm not sure about the pyro or the strippers--it looked like the band almost got lit on fire a couple of times from the sparks. The strippers don't offend me, but you might be past that now. You'll probably never get rid of 'Motherf'r Quite like me' because let's face it, it's fun to say 'Motherf'r' out loud once in awhile! Don't slay me people, but I'm a little over All Summer long, too. Maybe just play it during the summer? I'd like to see you crooning a song or two while sitting in that hot convertible on the cover of Born Free, but I doubt you can sit still that long. I am so glad that you are finally getting the respect that you deserve these past few years. WE LOVE YA!

My husband, Shane & I agree with Patrick. We would love to hear "What I've learned out on the road" when you come to Memphis in March!

Rock!! Your shows are unbelievable. I have to tell you its a family affair with us. Me and my 75 year old grandmother have seen you several times in the south. She has went with me to see you at the Gulf Coast Coliseum in 2008 and also the New Orleans Arena the same year. She is going to see you again this year in Jackson, MS. and also in Birmingham, AL. She is such a huge fan of yours and would give anything for her to get the chance to meet you. I know she wont be around forever but it would give me great joy to see her expression when she met you. She would be on the cruise in April if she could. We really appreciate all you do for people. Your music has touched all of us in such a way I cant explain. Her favorite song is Roll On and New Orleans. I would love to have a picture of the two of you to have and cherish forever god forbid something happen to her. Anyway she is a huge fan and cant wait to see you. We will have 4 Generations at the Jackson, MS show. Grandmother, my mother, myself and my 16 year old daughter. So I know you will put on a great show and make everyone feel great as usual. Her name is Hilda Smith and contact is 601-441-3869 or 601-736-0577 in case you would give her a shout out at the show. Would be awesome!!! Take care and god bless!! I feel like a begger for writing this but would do anything for her to be happy and see her dream come true. So I will take that chance!!!

From a transplanted Detroiter now living in West Tennessee - When you come to Memphis in March, I'd like to hear "What I've Learned Out on the Road." I lived in South Alabama and had a house near Mackinac City, and that song criss-crosses the Mason Dixon line for a lot of us that have had to hop around for work; Keep stickin up for the "D"....

Bob, We enjoyed your show. This is the 2nd for us. Kendra said we had to go & she's right. We sat by a cousin of Mrs. Stroebel...we'd never met her. It was fun to share stories of your younger years with her. Your show is amazing. I'm not sure the pole dancers added anything, your talent & showmanship far exceeded what they brought to the party. Your love of Detroit & Michigan adds a sincerity to the show that is felt through out the crowd. Your later albums are great...just showing our age. We want t-shirts, but aren't crazy about skulls, etc. We need shirts that we can wear anywhere in public showing our support...know what I mean?! Barbara & Rod M.

Your Concert at Dow on Friday Jan 21st was GREAT! The opening bands were really good and helped us get more psyched and pumped up for the starting of the show. Your show was nonstop action and entertainment. You performed all your older greatest songs and nex mix. You just amaze me. Stage set up and screens, pyro techs added to the entertainment. Overall GREAT night, hats off to you and your crew! Will not hesitate to see your concert again. You Rock!

First of all, we went to your birthday bash in Detroit and then we went to the Friday's show in Saginaw. Both shows were GREAT! Only thing I would say about both shows is that the "smaller" venue in Saginaw felt more personal (more of a connection) than the larger venue in Detroit. We would still go see you in either of the venue's. The songs that we would have liked hearing that you didn't play at either place would be - "So Hott!", and "Times like These". But man, what songs could you replace them with, that's a hard one. You played a very good mix of all of your music, which we thought was awsome. We loved the bar scene for a stage, and the pryo thru out the show. Thanks for a awesome birthday bash (my husband's 40th birthday was on Sat) So keep on ROCKIN! See you next time!
