Certainly recommend this book to anyone looking for music industry information, a late summer read, or is interested in how and why Bob Ritchie is where he is today.

Bob's mentioned at length in about twenty pages worth.

Ajay, my old trick was to go to the bookstore, bury with the book, hit the index, then read through as fast as possible. And request it through the local library, which will get it to you eventually for free.

Nice idea, KVAL...there's a lot to chew on, especially when you see how vastly he contributed to the industry and the art form. And how he believed in Bob Ritchie, which strictly talent wise, is a feather in his cap.

For sure Ahmet didn't get where he was because he wasn't business savvy. Who starts their own record label and attains the success he did? Not many that is for sure! He was and is totally respected in the industry to this day. And yes @ some point i plan to read his book. Thanks for the heads up on it and it's worthiness of a read. Not all books on ppl are worth reading quite honestly. Some are basically another means of merchandising to some bands, artist, entertainers etc. If i was them personally i would be very picky what, when and how i put out a book on myself. Along with who would co-author it etc. How many times do you really wanna tell your story? BASICALLY do it right the first time and with the right writer IMO.
