Please, advise. Every time I attempt to leave a post on another persons comment, in discussions, I'm given a verification code and it appears to look like I'm posting an original comment or starting a discussion???? I am simply attempting to add commentary....ugh! Any info? This am I tried to add to the discussion, "Happy Birthday Cedar" to no avail.

I have a 16yr old son with Downs Syndrome who is OBESSED with Kid Rock's music, his social life, he prays that he will stop smoking (and was upset to learn he smokes from a photo on youtube). He spends EVERY afternoon "practicing" his music, by putting on headset, bringing up Kid Rock songs on youtube and singing along with them over and over until he's gotten them right. For my sister's 50th bday party, he stunned me, his mother, when he got up with his ipod, spoke to the sound guy and voluntarily sang "Lonely Road of Faith" to the music from memory to my sister. That was his gift to her. Until then, I had only witnessed severe bouts of social anxiety in my Jeremy (aka J-Man, aka Uncle Kid Rock). That night he sang for 40-50 strangers and had my sister in tears. His speech isn't perfect, but his timing is and he sings FROM THE HEART - its so obvious. His 10th grade yearbook photo was of him in his usual garb..jeans, white t-shirt, black leather jacket, and a black hat with a brim. He lives and breathes Kid Rock. I know this is just one of so many with Down's, but I am telling you if there is ever ANY way to contact my son, a piece of Kid's heart will be taken from my son and he won't give it back;Kid Rock will also leave knowing he owns a piece of the J-Man's heart forever.He IS A VERY SPECIAL GIFTED BOY and his choices are limited here in life.Maybe we can change that.How do I reach him? I'd love to send him photos.I've been told continued speech therapy is a waste of time at 16,but I won't give up. I believe the boy has a LOT more to say and maybe,just maybe, to sing. How can we send photos,videos,etc to Kid Rock and have him at least receive them?Do you know he has signed his name as Kid Rock on our pizza deliveries?! LOL poor guy had to come back for a legit signature! My son will have you laughing for sure-he is truly unique even among other Down's children, he just shines for some reason. - J-Man's Mom (christie)

Hi, I'm writing to you in hopes that you can try to help make my daughter Kristie's 30th birthday very special. She was diagnosed right after her Dad died in 2000 with Multiple Sclerosis. She was only 17 at the time and now @ 30 suffers from the end stages of the disease. She is at Hope nursing home in Westland, MI. She is in constant pain and heavily medicated and unfortunately completely debilitated. She can't swallow so she has a feeding tube. She can not walk, she can barely see, and she barely has control over her arms. She is totally reliant on me and the staff to take care of her. If everyone doesn't do their job, she will die very quickly. She's really had a rotten life. Her Dad was an alcoholic, her boyfriend manipulated her and turned her against me and then did not take care of her at all and she got sicker and sicker. Every time she would go into the hospital he would have women over. He used her for a place to live and the money that the state provided for a chore care provider. I found her in a really bad nursing home in Detroit, and she was almost dead. She was dehydrated because she couldn't swallow and they weren't giving her fluids, she was sepsis, (infection so bad that it's in her blood), and such high levels of coumadin (blood thinner) in her, that her blood was toxic and she had to have a blood platelet transfusion. He took my baby girls quality of life from her! Even though her body is in a debilitative state, her mind, for the most part, is still there and she can still smile, laugh and crack jokes. But I see her slowly slipping away from me. Please help me make her beautiful face light up with her smile that will melt your heart. I'm reaching out to you with hopes and prayers that you could try to visit her on Monday Aug 27th between 7:00 & 8:30 p.m. @ Hope Nursing home where she is being cared for. Hey Kid...I just bought a brand new car; my 2002 Geo finally had it's last trip. I bought a black Kia Soul...it's great! But it would be fantastic if I could get a KID ROCK license plate for it! I looked in the MID store....not finding any car accessories. Thought I give you a heads up on a great idea. Hope to see something soon. I might have to design my own, but would prefer the original KID ROCK!!!

Kid Rock, buy my guitar for charity man!

I am a U.S. Army veteran from Denver, CO who has served 3 combat tours in Afghanistan. I am back in Afghanistan for the 4th time, and I've been here since April 2011 supporting the U.S. Military as a civilian contractor.

I wanted to do something to help the families who lost loved ones in the shooting. I don't have a lot of money, so I am auctioning my most valuable possession, a very nice custom-made Les Paul guitar, worth about $3,000.00, and giving the proceeds to the 12 families who lost their loved ones in the shooting. 100% is going to COVA, Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance, the official non-profit organization designated by the Aurora Police Department to collect and distribute donations on behalf of the victims and families. I'm going to work with them to make sure the money gets to the 12 families who's loved ones were killed.

Please help me get the word out to some rock stars who want to help victims of the shooting and get an awesome guitar. This is great publicity, a great cause, and a great guitar. USA is bullshit. We were "guaranteed" seats within rows 1-12.... Uh no- they put us in some row maybe 50th? Beyond a new section. Fuck you Rock USA Not gonna stop me from enjoying Kid- but these seats SUCK!! LOVE YOU KID! So wish we were in the 6 th row as I was dreaming about since I bought these bull fucking bullshit tics last Feb. yeah. Buzz kill for sure but GOD BLESS SATURDAY AND GOD BLESS YOU!!!
