so true about ju-box mighti---I never knew it was juke box 'til I was older

@Mr.Bart: Yep its a classic! If I am at the bar, playing pool then I have to play "Hotel California" on the jukebox...its tradition. Can't play pool without it!
On another note, why is it that there is so many different ways to say "Jukebox"? When I say it, it ends up being "Juebox" because I never seem to say it right...

Whenever I'm at a bar with a jukebox, I always play "Have a drink on me"....Love that song!

lmao Val.....Seriously??? Oh no...I am doomed then... I can't live without rocking the air guitar :-(

I just read a column in my local paper that stated that 'the air guitar went out in the '90's'...why didn't anyone TELL me?? lol

lol Mr. Bart-you and I are on the same page then!!! "Have a drink on me" - AC/DC

Trust me - I still crank it up when needed!

That's my new phrase for my peers:

If it's too loud, you're too old......Get over it and have a beer!

It is funny how the younger kids seem to gravitate towards the older music all on their own... My daughter (age 11) listens to Pink Floyd, Ozzy, AC/DC, and Poison...and of course she loves Kid Rock! I may be a bad parent for this, but I have never felt like I should filter music from her. I let her listen to everything...even with all the cursewords...

Hey Mr.Bart---turn that rap sh*t up!!! lol Maybe then we wont feel so old ;-)

RSMS - LOVE Joe Walsh's album You Can Tune A Piano, But You Can't Tune A Fish! Life's Been Good always takes me back to high school! What a Summer that was! Good memories. My 17 yr old son knows more about AC/DC, BonJovi, Poison, Whitesnake, the 80's women (Pat Benatar, Scandal) than he does about today's music. He does love todays country though! It goes without saying how we feel about Kid Rock :) and his music!!!

I play the music trivia game with my son and nephews. We go back and forth between the classic rock station and a pop station.

They just laugh because they always start guessing with AC/DC, Van Halen, Rolling Stones and
Aerosmith. I always start my guessing with Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Nicki Monag, and Justin Beiber.

I swear all the new music sounds exactly the same....We must be getting old - that sounds like something my parents would say!

Actually, they said - turn that rap sh*t down!

Val I love the teaching approach...audio hostages.

I so agree with you here... I get tired of the bubble-gum music today :-( It is almost as if it has no soul. Live on Led Zepplin!!!

Reminds me of the time I was dropping the kids off at school and I made them listen to Peter Frampton's 'Do You Feel Like We Do' in the parking lot... love that wicked guitar solo near the end. So embarassing when your Mom does air guitar in the car he hee

You're right, Val...I listen to Classic Rewind & Classic Vinyl all the time.

lol Val. I made my kids stay in my van while it was in our driveway today. Joe Walsh was on the radio (Life's Been Good to me so Far). I MADE them listen to the whole song before they could get out of the car (locked them in). LOVE THAT SONG! Love how the guitars just sing. I cranked it up!

It is living on Sirius Radio. My fave channels are Classic Rewind, Classic Vinyl, Alt Nation, The Spectrum, some Lithium (90's rock/grunge-think Soundgarden), E street Radio, 80's Rock, and sometimes First Wave. Oh, and Prime Country!! My daughter said she doesn't know popular music, and I told her that was probably my fault b/c i never listen to it!

If I hear Carly Rae Jepson's "Call Me Maybe" one more time, I'm gonna scream!!!!
