Once upon a time, a Kid Rock show in Detroit was something all my people wanted to go to. It was the cool thing to do, the cool place to be, a good time for all. Now my mom wants to go, my aunt calls for tickets, and my teachers from High School frequent the shows. Once upon a time, he was a devil without a cause, now he is all religous during his shows, making me feel as if he is a zealot without a cause. The lyrics and content used to be on the edge, its what made him who he is, now its pathetic and same ole same ole. Why do I hold on?

When will you be playing in Buffalo, NY again. I grew up there and would love to fly back for a concert there, since you probably won't ever be back to Utah (don't blame you it sucks here). Anyway, two of my favorite people met you and have sent me pictures of themselves with you. One is my cousin who works for the Boys and Girls Club of Buffalo. You made a donation and apparently she was the lucky one who got to accept it. The other is my best friend from college, Clarence, who met you in Detriot for Superbowl. I now have pictures of my two favorite friends with you but wonder when I will get my turn?!!!!

@196319_64 I was a newbie last year belonged to the KRC and that is I how I received my booking priority over the general public. We are sorry for those of you who did not get to book. However there is a waiting list and this is how some of our group made in to the boat last year. Save your money as if you were already booked then when you get the call you will be set to go. Last year there were more newbies than alumni so I am not sure if you signed up for presale later than everyone else. Make sure you us the same email address as what you use for KRC as I had two email addresses last year and my KRC addy had about a week earlier booking time than my alternate address. However I do not think casting stones are prior cruisers is the best way for you to approach this afterall if you do get on the cruise then you will have to share space with the alumi. Are you signing up for the presale or just joining the waiting list as those who were signed for the presale are taken from the waiting list before general public. This will be my 2nd time and I don't have any remorse of going two years in a row. We are on a much smaller ship this year that holds 300 - 400 less peeps. It also went up in price by 150.00 or more per person. My guess is they still have to pay the artist regardless. Fuel cost is outrageous and so are the airline tickets this year. Someday you will make it on. I really don't think I will pay for a 3rd time but who knows, that is what I said after the 1st trip. Good luck to ya.

This year was my first time going to Sturgis and part of the reason I bought tickets in February was because I heard that KR was supposed to perform there again. Well, he didn't! Sturgis was still a good time but me and my crew were disappointed that our boy KR wasn't there. Perhaps he can be booked at the Buffalo Chip next year?! :-)

I heard recently that you were interested in promoting talented but little-known artists, maybe even putting out a CD. I couldn't see anything on the site about this, though. Where can I get more information about this possible project, and how would I go about suggesting a wonderful, but little-known artist to you? The person I am thinking of is Megan Slankard, an excellent singer-songwriter based out of San Francisco. Her latest album, "A Token of the Wreckage|" has a fabulous title track. She's also super-energetic and crowd-friendly in concert and, in fact, dueled with Train's lead singer, Pat Monahan, in Train's six San Francisco shows earlier this year. I have no financial interest in Megan Slankard; I just think she's truly a gem of an artist who can write poetically and sing evocatively. You might really enjoy her and her music.

I have always been a big fan and my child is now big fan too. I was watching the news of Mitt Romney’s VP announcement of Paul Ryan when at the end of Paul Ryan’s speech they started playing “Born Free”. For a person who will not sell his songs on I-Tunes because you do not believe I-Tunes should tell you how to sell your songs and for someone who will not let American Idol use your songs because you feel artists should work hard and not receive a free ride (I agree with both) I was shocked you would let a political party use your song. To take a song that is so American and to associate it with a political party cheapens the song. It does not matter which political party is using it, it will never have the same meaning to me again.

I have always been a fan of kid rock. My good friend Gary just went on a cruise with the band he said it was great. I would go to the pistons game just to see him, But was to shy to say hi to him. My life has been the worst it has ever been. When I am lonely and scare I love to listen to his voice. It doesn't matter what song I listen to they are all great and they make me feel like their is still hope in life. I wish their were more people like Kid Rock he is very kind and has his head on straight and he cares for others. I love you Mr Kid Rock I have seen you in concerts and a few other places in Detroit shhh lol. If you are every around warren rd you know where..I would love to ride my Harley next to you. Hey Kid...I just bought a brand new car; my 2002 Geo finally had it's last trip. I bought a black Kia Soul...it's great! But it would be fantastic if I could get a KID ROCK license plate for it! I looked in the MID store....not finding any car accessories. Thought I give you a heads up on a great idea. Hope to see something soon. I might have to design my own, but would prefer the original KID ROCK!!!

Am I missing something? Perhaps iTunes takes too much profit? How are there sooooo many covers of your music?
