We were playing Old City Hall in Bay City both nights, so I had to miss it, but will catch you next time around. The place was packed because there were rumors you may show up after. So, thanks for that:) All my friends that went to the shows, even on both nights said it was one of the best concerts that they have ever seen. Good luck on the rest of the tour, and hope you had a great birthday! Oh yeah, tried the Red Stag this weekend too. Good stuff!

I dont ever think you could make a bad performance. Love when you go old school and jump on the mixing table! Hoping to celebrate my 40th in May your style! I know youll be back this summer in the "D"! See you then!

We didn't attend the Saginaw shows, hoping to see a few tour dates in Pennsylvania, (pretty please:) but The Birthday Bash was kick-ass !! My husband and I got to spend a beautiful extra long weekend in the D celebrating with friends, your birthday.. and what it is.. we ALL LOVE seeing, hearing, and feeling yah do. Many thanks for all the hard work you and the band put into such a GREAT show... you guys were able to cram so many of our favorite songs in to those three hours... it was amazing, epic, and magical. I was addicted back in 99 and still addicted here in 2011. Thanks for playing EMSP, one of my favorite and tattoo'd proudly on my arm. I hope to see that continue on the setlist. It was the first time we seen Sugar done live.. nice. Loved seeing you and Sheryl dancing together on Collide.. that was so sweet.... took me back to the boat when I was dancing with my baby :) I would love to see Jackson Mississippi come back to the setlist. But, really my only one request is to see you do Rock On off the new album. From what we saw on youtube.. the stage set is fucking awesome!! Love the lil saloon doors you come out.. and the bar. Dime aka the bartender looking all fab..lol Dig the big belt buckle replica in the center blowing smoke.. and the guns on top.. nice touch Dancers and Pyro... awesome to see again. Can't wait for the cruise again.. Excited !! Thanks for giving us fans pure joy and happiness, making our life enriched with good times.

I am waiting for your show in Chicago, cannot wait to see you again. You wanted comments, my comment is you do not have to change anything, and I have not even seen your show yet. If you are anything like you were when you played in Chicago last time with Bon Jovi, no changes are necessary. Why would someone like you 2nd guess your performance? My son has a band, much different music than yours, but they are just starting out and are always looking for ways to create new things to get their names out there. They have come very far in the short time they have been together. Just like you, start out at the bottom and work your way up. I think my son's band, Goodbye Coastline has the same drive and creativity, but just different music. You have made it to the center stage, you need no one's approval.

Hey, Kid Rock! My daughter and son-in-law were first-timers at your Saginaw concert on Sat. and haven't stopped raving about it yet. Me, chief babysitter, didn't get to go,and I'm crying still. They did call me to let me have a listen, or to rub it in, I'm not sure which. They said you were phenomenal, and they've been to a lot of other shows and none of those held a candle to you, with your voice, your stage set, your show. Needless to say, I have now done my job as grandma and, next time, they will hire out for babysitting so my old butt can be planted in the seat next to theirs. They don't know this yet, but they will. Any idea when you'll be back? Now, I'm onto a totally unrelated topic, and I apologize ahead of time for placing it on this blog. When you filmed Born Free, did you visit the little town of Grand Marais at the east end of Pictured Rocks? The people there are working desperately to save their harbor which is rapidly disappearing due to lack of maintenance and a screw-up by the core of engineers. The powers that be will not help them and they are struggling on their own. PLEASE check out the youtube video Save the Grand Marais MI Harbour, or Michigan Out of Doors episode 1102. They are currently in 1st place in the Reader's Digest www.wehearyouamerica.readersdigest.com contest, but desperately need the support of anyone willing to go to bat for them. I can't save the world either, but I sure as hell care, and would like to help save a little of it. Would you? Thanks.

When you come to Gwinnett in Atlanta GA in March, please do not leave out When it Rains! I lost my best friend since the 10th grade a few years ago and this one really speaks to my heart!!! I read somewhere one time that you wanted a lamp with an American Eagle made into the base. I found one and have ordered it for you froma n Antique dealer. How can I get it to you?

I'm from Saginaw and was at both shows in Saginaw. I loved it all but want to get straight to the feedback you're looking for. I liked it when you put Rock n Roll Jesus earlier in the show on the second night, thought that "when it rains" should be eliminated (too slow), Cocky and Only God was missed! Since 2001,I've been to 35 of your concerts, was on the cruise, and have never heard you play Prodigal Son. Love that song! Bawitdabaw is such an adreline rush, I think it should be in the beginning, to get the crowd going strong early. "Low Life" is hysterical how you poke fun at yourself, people who don't know the song would get a huge kick out of it. The Devil/Somebody's gotta Feel This medley was great, but want to see "Cocky" in there too! Loved the personal touches with your converstion to the crowd, and looking right at people! Holding your hand up to show us on the MIchigan map where you were, talking about our great state, and your roots...people love that. I missed how you always introduce TBT and where they are all from. Show your girl Stephanie some love...Female drummer and band mate is impressive! Also love the the showy pimp performance of Early Mornin Stone Pimp. You gotta flaunt your Pimp of Nation status. No one else can own that like you! Amen in its shortened version was perfect. "Wastin Time" is a good one to get people singing, even if you don't know the words, its easy to catch onto. OHHH!!!! do some of the rap parts from Lay it on Me! Love you! See you in Louisville!

I would'nt change anything, the show was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love all your songs! Saturday night I was in the 6th row close to the catwalk with my husband wearing our Kid Rock-Lions jerseys, which I might add ,we are Damn Proud of!!!!!!! This was the 5th show we've been fortunate enough to attend and closest to the stage we've ever been!!!!! After 18 years of marriage,2 children and plenty of lifes ups and downs, and hard work, my husband and I have discovered that "date night" is best spent at one of your shows. We both were born and raised in Michigan and still live here.My husband runs a party store and pizzeria (which just celebrated its 30th anniversary) only a few miles from the Dow event Center. Thanks for all the energy you give at the shows, your songs, your incredibly talented " Brown Trucker Band",and your love for Michigan.Boy,2 Kid Rock shows a week apart and I got to be there for both! Believe me I'll be paying-it-forward!!!!!!! Hubby wanted me to thank you for the pole-dancers.Enjoy the rest of your tour!

I was at the Birthday Bash as well as both Saginaw shows! They were all amazing! Loved the oldies, especially Early Mornin Stoned Pimp! I missed one of the Pine Knob shows last summer, and sure enough you sang When You Love Someone...My favorite! I was hoping to hear that one...You always put on a great and energetic show...I have converted several people, now they will never miss another show when you're in town! I also loved Welcome to the Party!!! Rock on!!! Hope to see you next summer!

If you could play the West Coast (maybe Vancouver?) I could critique.....All I ask is that you rock the boat for us in April.....

We had a awesome time at the Dow on Saturday!!! My husband & I were first timers....I am still singing around the house this morning...the show was entertaining, exciting, everything I expected & more!! You played a little bit of everything & it was great. I hope you come back through Michigan when it warms up....so we can do it all over again ! Thanks for a great night out that we will remember for a long time. Keep doing what your doing.

Unfortunately I missed your birthday bash at ford field and I was very bummed about it, so instead I sat on the computer that night looking up videos of you on youtube ( I know right, how lame is that), I've seen you every year since 2000 proudly celebrated my 10 year anniversary at DTE last summer and the one song I have never seen you perform is Wasting Time I love all your songs, but that is my all time favorite and if you could fit that in if you come back to DTE this summer that would be awesome!

I wasn't able to be there - NC a little far from Michigan! I'm sure it was a great show. I love the new album and all of KID Rock songs!

Had a great time Saturday night at the Dow. Great show but I would have liked to hear Roll On.Maybe because I`m gettin close to 50 and time is flying by! Saw your shows at Boyne Mtn. what a great venue that was. Too bad you didn`t make it there last year.

Whether you are 39 or 40 you are still fucking hott!! If I were to give you a list of songs that are my favorites for you to play at the concerts you would be on stage for hours and hours : ) I loved the older songs you sang in Detroit but also love the newer ones as well... see I just can't make a decision. I will however comment on the person who suggested taking Picture out..please DON'T. I hope you release the tour dates for the remainder of the year soon!!! See ya in 73 days!! Thank you for taking care of your fans and for all the amazing music!!

P.S. not sure of what cover songs you are going with or if you are having other artists join you. So I like Seger's Turn the Page alot and Like a Rock. It can't hurt asking I love Tiny Dancer from Elton/Taupin. IDK I just think your voice on it would be phenominal with the lyrics. Then my mind went straight to Metallica...Wherever I May Roam. haha what ya think of that? Also anytime you want to put out a DVD. We will buy it!!! Cheers. and THANK YOU!!

I thought you all came up with a perfect mix of old and new school. Love the EMSP. Been to lots of your shows and that's one I'd not had the pleasure of seeing. I did miss In Times Like These, but wonder if people outside of Michigan would. You and the TBT seem pretty in touch with the fans and know what we like. Amazing show every time. (Would love to see it again at Pine Knob this summer!)

I went to my very first show of yours Friday in Saginaw. I thought it was AMAZING!! The lazer lights, pyrotechnics, and set was crazy. Ive only been to a few concerts because financially its impossible for me to attend all the ones I would like to but this was so worth the money!!!!! I can't wait for you to come back to Michigan again. Hopefully I have the money and am quick enough to get tickets....since they go so damn fast!!!! I feel for the people who missed out because Ive been them every other time youve been to Michigan. Glad I made it this time. I wish I could have heard So Hott!....but if I had it my way you'd play all your songs..so its totally understandable with so many great ones to choose from. Keep doing what you are doing, it makes people like me forget, for those few hours, the hardships in our lives and just have a great time!
Miss Missy's picture

Hey Kid :) Good Morning...To the EMSP loving it! (well what I saw on You tube) Ya might add a lil' more swag in that jmho. Love the coat, hat and cane!! So please keep that in the set. I don't know how it feels to wear it. wether that is a possibility. I am glad you asked to fine tune. Cowboy is great cause of your Wild WILD West Saloon Look... ya got going on. I love the stage set-up. I like Jimmie and Dime right there. How"s Stef feel with the Strippers? lol Ya might wanna get a couple strippers that really get into your music. So if ya need some coyote ugly chics..to dance on your bartop I'm in!!! LOL jk I get in enuff trouble in my own seats lol... all good, nobody harmed and everybody laughing. Telling me Don't Stop. I always warn people around me some songs I am just going to go off like DWAC. Security enjoys me too. Cause it is taken in good spirit. Rock On is a must!!(would love to see that video) ...just jam out on it at the end please. I like Born Free with your piano rising up. Cool! I see your went back to the white jogging suit for RnR Jesus. lol I love that song. It's true you have an aresonal of songs to pull from. Rock Bottom Blues is a fun dancing song... Flying High. I like that alot Hope to see Zac join you with that somewhere on the Road......I will have to think more. Funny that you asked cause I was thinking last night my perfect KR/TBT show setlist. I am still working on it. lol I like the older and newer stuff. Your a good mixer just keep us guessing to a point..since I really don't know what ya played on your setlist in Saginaw. I am going with what people shared on videos. You got a great base so Build up. American Bad Ass is a great starter and mind set for starting a show and also good marketing for your Bad Ass Beer. Have a great Day. Thanks for all you do. You do it well :) In the one video I saw you turn and look at the Band and stage and the pyros going off. Sweet. Rock ON!!!
Stoned Wimp's picture

Came to the show Friday night. I thought Rock N Roll Jesus was too much, especially that late in the show, and the time out for the costume change was a bit of a mood killer. Also, the mid-show run through of "Devil" songs -- Fist of Rage, Somebody's Gotta Feel This, etc. -- felt a bit flabby. I thought the show would have been more effective if it ran 1 hour 50 mins to 2 hours. Really liked Rock On, and I hope Early Morning Stoned Pimp stays in the set. That's a real treat. But what happened to In Times Like These?
Gloria_5's picture

All reviews say that you were awesome and i am sure you were! I will see you in Dayton,Ohio on Saturday night! WOW I am excited!!! You are a great entertainer and i LOVE your music!

Unfortunately we are in Tennessee so I couldn't see the show. I do, however, love your music....it's changing......growing with you......and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Keep doing whatever you're doing and someday you're gonna visit Sevier County in Tennessee and I will get to meet you personally!!!!

Love your newest CD Born Free and especially the title song and video. It had to be a thrill making that video. I hope one day to see a concert and experience your music live...that would be an awesome adventure. Saginaw, wow what a cool name for a town...
