No Individual Pictures On Next CTM Cruise

This groping licking thing makes me think of trying to break my dog of licking & jumping on people when they come over...I swear, it's like the people that are doing this at the boarding photos are acting like a dog with no manners..."stop licking, no groping" lol. What goes on in a musicians life, I'm sure can be pretty raunchy, but there's a time & place for everything. Hope ya make it on the cruise, Ajay.

Me & some of the ladies Saturday night were discussing the no pictures thing & thought just doing boarding pics for new cruisers from now on. Can't remember if it was Toni or Cheryl said almost 1/2 were new cruisers this year & Toni had a good idea to break it up over a couple days...idk I thought it was a good idea, but maybe there's more to the no pics thing than just time consuming...all the licking & groping maybe? lol

Check with Sixthman. Have an Aunt who tours the world on cruises and due to similar health issues gets the kitchen to pack a "lunch bag" with salads, protein, fruits, etc., and you either go and get it or have it dropped off to your room once a day.

Sure KRCVAL. I love Kracker and tons of music. Would love to see him pop somebody off teh wall on there like Haystak. One of my favorite rappers. Listened to his clip of Yelawolf. I like the single. Can't say i have really listened to much Yelawolf other then dope selling single of his. I can relate. In my younger years i smoked a shit ton of ganja. Now unfortunately i live a straight laced life, rarely even drink but i think i would once or twice on this cruise. My career in medical dictates that. Any time they can say we need a random...then guess who gets to go to the bathroom. Showing dirty would be a very bad thing and i ain't taking my chances. I know how my luck runs, if i would do it i would get hit with a random i have no doubt!

Tell me is there healthier food on this said cruise? Fruits, veggies, non-breaded chicken, baked fish? I read there is a buffet. Like salad but my guts sure don't. I got so much shit that tears my guts up i gotta be careful. I got diverticulosis, unfortunately it isn't like most ppls mine flares up. I hate it and it is a bitch! But it is do the right thing or suffer for me. And i ain't looking to have a colostomy anytime in my near future so there it is....

I know i sound picky and a bit of party pooper in ways. I am hoping they do have ice tea flavored vodka though. Jeremiah Weed's sweet ice tea vodka is the shit on the rocks with 2/3 water, filled with ice and about 1/3 vodka. Tastes just like sweet tea and me and loving the south i can hit 2-3 and be drunk as shit before i know what happened! It goes down too fucking smooth is all i will say!

And yeah if they got a lot of music i would be on that like white on rice...That is my cup of tea! I am diverse. Today i was listening to Haystak, a few days before that an 80's band Wildside, Kid Rock a few days before that, Saigon Kick got mixed in there @ some point. I mean i listen to just about anything but classical and opera. I give it a listen if i like it i like it. Extras???

Wow...after reading this thread i am tired and not even sure what i was gonna say about the announcement. Oh yeah i think i do remember. I still am considering going on this sloughem ride with a drunken skipper. Lets just hope it doesn't say "SS Minow" or "Titanic" on it though ya know?
I am a bit bummed about the loss of the pics with Kid, but thinking about it a bit makes it understandable. Numerous hours, numerous smiles, all kinds of debauchery, flash after flash, yeah that would get old. Wait a minute here...what happens when Bob gets on stage to do a show. Nearly the same thing??? But still his choice, no one makes that choice but him.
I honestly feel it takes a bit of the experience away knocking the meet and greet and pic outta the picture. Was kind of something if i went i was looking forward to. Have seen Kid several times live and yes as well as being a music junkie i am a shutterbug. It started out with my obsession with just photography...then morphed with my total obsession with music, concerts, and all that jazz. Personally i am not one to really have my pic took. I do have several shots with several musicians/celebs etc. Including Bob's buddy Kracker from the Limelight in Nashvegas. I treasure them as some of them are ppl i never believed i would have the opportunity to meet. Like Mike Ness of Social D and Lemmy of Motorhead. I don't say that to brag either. I treasure them....and that is no joke. I totally respect both Lemmy and Ness. I don't go after meeting ppl if i don't enjoy, admire, appreciate, and respect their music etc. No i am not a stalker either, i guess it is just more pursuing things i love.
Though i am a bit bummed about his decision it is his to make. The fact he will still mingle about takes away some of that though. We see if i make it on the boat or not....I wish they wouldn't sell out so quick. I never know what the hell i am gonna be able to do 5 minutes from now, let along x amount of months from now....

Great idea, the photo props. Should have full band backgrounds too. Courtney's got a nice recent shot of them on her site they could use.

Maybe they can post a life sized Kid Rock figure and some fun silly props to pose with for the cruise goers that have wanted pics with him. They could also set up some sort of video booth for fans to give him a quick message or "hello shout out" and compose a video of his fans for him for those wanting to. :) Sounds like you all have such a fun time. I am sure Kid will keep fun the theme! I hope to actually make this cruise and to witness all of your good times!

Val - Thanks - that was the first I heard that. We got off the boat pretty early to beat the crowd. Last year we waited (because we were waaaay hung over) and it took forever.

I agree - it is great to see that many shows in a 4 day timespan.

I have never laughed so much as I did on that boat. Everyone was just happy to be there and had a great time. As for the picture, I didn't even download mine since I looked terrible (I hate having my picture taken). I always wanted Bob to want to know who I was and want to meet me, not having me go up to him like a dork and stand next to him to get my picture taken. Maybe one day he will. Who knows? I have met some really kind, down to earth, funny, sweet, thoughtful....people here on this site and on the boat. The cruise is something special. I hope whoever wants to go, gets that opportunity.

Blue - As far as I know they didn't run out of booze on the last cruise - How? I have no idea - we certainly did try to drain that boat. Maybe next year!

It's great so many friendships are made and sustained on those boat trips, but, sometimes (never you Bex, lol) overlook the fact that there are some great up and coming young bands and oldtimers performing noon to nite on that boat. If you've gone each year, you've been exposed to some excellent music.

Hmmmm.....Angel if you put yourself in danger becoming drunk and disorderly then any sort of violation can enter the picture a lot more quickly than if you were not. Not condoning any abuse, but, if you stand in front of the train......

Can certainly understand why the man doesn't want to sit in front of a flash bulb that many times, wonder he hasn't had a seizure. And just like with the meet and greet pics, if he doesn't want to be there, what's the point? But I do think Andy's 2012 catch phrase "take a picture in your mind" with the informal stuff is now doomed for 2013.

And unfortunately we are all human. If some Hotty came up and grabbed my ass, I might be more forgiving than if some older, overweight, bald guy grabbed my ass. jus sayin..
