We were at the Tigers game tonight as the no hitter was happening, I never mentioned it, neither did my son or husband, we know better, but someone didn't cuz Anibal Sanchez pitched an unbelievable game tonight, and was robbed of the no hitter with 2 outs to go in the top of the ninth, by no less than Joe Mauer. UGH, but brilliant pitching by Sanchez. FYI for the baseball newbies, NEVER MENTION NO HITTER WHILE A NO HITTER IS HAPPENING!!! I don't buy into jinxes but I buy into this one.

Billie Ritchie Honored With Spirit Of Life Award From Danny's Miracle Angel Network, Kid Rock, Kid Rock's Brother Billie Honored At The Fillmore Theatre, Spirit of Life Award
Kid Rock’s brother Billie Ritchie is being honored tomorrow night by Danny’s Miracle Angel Network. Officially he’s going to receive the Spirit of Life Award in ceremonies at the Fillmore Theatre in Detroit.
The event takes place at 6 tomorrow at the Fillmore where it’s the 3rd Annual Hollywood Night and Awards Celebration.
Billie is well know for his charity work in the Detroit area. One time he took part in a charity benefit run all the way from Boston to Los Angeles helping to raise millions of dollars.
When Billie was only six, he lost a leg in a tractor accident and since that time he has vowed to serve others and has devoted his life to charity.
The Chairman of Danny’s Miracle Angel Network is Ziad Kassab and he says about Ritchie: “Thank you, Billie, for being an inspiration to us all and especially in believing in the mission of Danny’s Miracle Angel Network.
Danny’s Miracle Angel Network is dedicated to enriching the lives of families and individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
