    Great weekend of shows and lots of fun on The Detroit River! Had 3 great shows this weekend and since they were all not too far from home i got to spend my days with family enjoying the boat races in Detroit! The F-18 show was simply incredible! If you have never been, or have not been in sometime, like me, you really should check it out next year. (pictured below are Saturdays Navy F-18 pilots, our Detroit dive team and other associated military who stopped by after there show.) The Detroit river is alive, clean, 75 degrees and FUN! If you have never been on jet ski's or a boat and checked it out, I would highly recommend it! They even have tour boats you can take a ride on as well. Back in the studio working on the new album, very excited and feeling inspired! Can't wait for it too hit the shelves! If your back at work like most of us this Monday, be thankful you have a job! Rock on - Kid Rock.

Hi Bob’s Mom! You must be the proudest Mom in the whole wide world !!! I’m a Mom too and I know great kids/ awesome human beings….don’t just happen….Hats off to You!!! Sounds like it was an amazing time in Detroit! I am Bob's mom and was there. I've never Im Bobs Mom and was there. I'm still thinking about the thrill of seeing our F-18 and the crew Pilot Navigator,maintenance crew,Detroit recovery divers and the wonderful women that headed it up. Always been proud to be American and hope all your hearts beat as proud as mine. I hope all can experience this at sometime. Pray for our military and they all stay safe. Their loved ones deserve as much praise. They keep it all together. God Bless, Susan

I was there, all the way from Tmmins, Ontario. :) We were doing an RV trip from Vancouver and ended in Detroit before coming back into Canada. My kids and I hung out downtown and saw the CARE wall...they were so excited and took a bunch of pics. Everyone was telling us to go to the boat races and we ended up stayed downtown at the festival. We did hear and get some pics of the fighter jet from where we were though...Too cool. We camped at the KOA near Flint. It is beautiful in there.. definately have to go back and check it out!!!

75 degrees is probally pretty refreshing at this stage of the game! I think our river water down here in the 'burgh is probally reaching near boiling by now.....But every time I see Kid Rock he gets me So Hott reguardless if it's minus 10 degrees or not!

Seriously? You commuted to your shows this weekend? Do you ever sleep? Glad to hear you were able to do both. I wondered about that when I heard the boat races were going on and you had shows scheduled. I figured you would be bummed to miss them - I was wrong! You figured out a way to do it all. Thanks for the update and all you do for the military family!

Sounds like a good time, never been on the Detroit river yet. I have seen or should I say heard the F-18 jets before, holy shit they're loud & fast! I'm excited about & waiting impatiently for your new album ;p *cough* Pine Knob....just sayin :D

I keep missing out! I am never at the right place at the right time! I thought you were in IL. I seen the blue angels and an F-16 last year...I was MORE THAN EXCITED when that jet came SCREAMING out of no where!! The guy flying that thing sure put on a show! It was awesome. But, I still get more EXCITED when I see you!! haha - love ya! I need to hang by the river, maybe you could take me one day!

Geez.......I always seem to be where Kid Rock is NOT. I was in Detroit the weekend before, in Clarkston today, and will be at a Tigers game next weekend. He will be in MN and ND then :(
