    Kid Rock will headline 'The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival' on Sunday, May 8, 2011.

    The seven-day festival takes place at the Fair Grounds Race Course from April 29 - May 1 and May 5 - 8.

    Other headliners include Bon Jovi, Willie Nelson, Robert Plant and hundreds of New Orleans and Louisiana acts like the Neville Brothers and Allen Toussaint. See the music schedule and the current lineup of artists at NoJazzFest.com.

    The festival will also host a celebration honoring Haitian culture and feature appearances by artists like Wyclef Jean, Boukman Eksperyans and Tabou Combo.

web crew....Bob...someone.....can you let me know of some places to go for heart and soul body movin blues? preferably not huge venues filled with tourists but places locals who know whats best hang out......we will b in N'WLINS 2 days before the cruise ..april 5 and want to experience the authentic.......thanks ahead of time if u can help .......i havent been there since spring break in the 80's so I am at a bit of a loss..............

Great to she you at Jazz fest, I am the Command Master Chief at NAS JRB New Orleans and we are having a big Air Show that weekend and on Friday we do a Military Show only what would you think about doing a guest apperance. You are such a great supporter of the military and we appreciate it.

Wish I could be there or any where the Kid preforms. Hey Web crew. Will this be televised and if so will we be able to watch the entire show? This is the only way the poor Kid Rock fans get to see the Kids events. The same goes for the cruise events. I am a big fan and very poor. I can only see the Kids events through You Tube videos posted by fans who are actually able to afford tickets, travel etc. etc. So give us poor folks a chance to watch his up coming concerts PLEASE. LOVE the Kid.

Just to clarify Dave Clark from live nation says buy tickets from live nation or Ticketmaster i tried but as all ways you cant get through because people like Clark let large blocks of tickets go to brokers not to the general public that's why i bought from Craig's list. Believe me lesson learned just wont go to any more shows in the D tickets just to hard to get legal at a fair price.

Don't by tickets from ticketmaster or live nations they might be fake i got scammed at ford field they said the tickets were made from a ticketmaster insider or somebody who stole ticketmaster equipment.

OMG.,.... i wanna go.... i always wanted to go to new orleans, hoped to be able to attend the cruise and see a bit of the town before or/ and after.... but wasnt in the newsletterthingy, so i missed out on the cruise.... the holidays here in görmany dont match any of the dates..... :-( i guess i am just pouting now! all peeps being able to go...have lots and lots of fun.....!!!! ( thats a must )
