    Here is an awesome cover of "There Ain't No Good Chain Gang" by Kid Rock and Hank Williams Jr. live at 'The Johnny Cash Memorial Tribute: A Celebration of Friends and Family.' The very special event took place at the historic 'Ryman Auditorium' in Nashville, TN on November 10, 2003 in honor of the iconic music legend, the late great Johnny Cash!

Daaa-yum!!! How the time flies. This is just about the same time KRAA let us join-up. That whole tribute show was absolutely amazing and beautiful... from Marty Stewart's version of "Rock Island Line" and Travis Tritt's version of "I walk the line" to John Mellencamp's "Hey Porter", "Long Black Veil" by Dave Matthews and Emmylou Harris.. Sheryl and Willie's "If I were a carpenter". We manage to tape the show on a cassette tape off our stereo... it's all sorts of horrible sounding because we still play it during our Sunday morning breakfast. Love Kid's version of 'What is truth' : ) Wonder if we can buy this exact show on video... would love to have a copy.

I have the whole show on DVD and Bobby also does another of Cash's songs. Love seeing Kid with his Rebel Daddy, hope they tour together soon. Would also like to see the VH1 Christmas Special featuring Frosty the Blowman. Agree , You can't use the F word is funny .

How I love seeing you singing with your father, Mr. Ritchie!!! Your voice starting out so low…mmmmm…and then the harmonies you sing…amaze and melt me. As a soprano all my life, I always learned and had to sing strong all the melodies. I’m changing my ways and trying my best at harmonies, but still need a lot of teaching on that front. I hope you get the chance to go fishing, because everything is going to be ok. Do you fly or traditional or both? I love the water and find its movement and sound soul refreshing. I am at peace on or near water. I had seen this video before in my previous research, but I am thankful to the WebCrew for posting this. You warm my heart with the ‘bond of friendship and music’ you share with your father.
