You changed my outlook on life on 08/08/08 in New Orleans when I saw you peform. I was a divorced mother of two sons, 24 and 18, with no companion in life, AND turning 50 yrs old on 08/09/08. I had loved your music prior to this night, but with every new song I hear you sing, it reminds me of the feelings of hope I experienced during that awesome concert. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for changing my attitude toward life that I continue to have 2 1/2 years later, all due to you! I still remain single, carefree and enjoying my life as a bartender and will continue to attend your concerts whenever you are close enough for me to get there! Happy Birthday, Kid!
