    This was taken at a military base (I believe in Italy?) a few years ago on a "tour for the troops" concert. I ran across it this morning looking thru pics for the video screens on tour. It really touched me and made me stop and count my blessings and think once again about not only our troops, but also there families, and what they endure and sacrifice. Thankyou to all our military families and soldiers. God Bless. Kid Rock

Everyday when I drive through Romeo I think about what a lovely town it is. I have spent most of my life vacationing in Michigan and have driven through many a small town, but there is something extra special about Romeo and not just that you were raised there lol (Tillson St. at Halloween is one of my favorite things to do). It is quaint and charming with all the amazing old homes, but it also rocks with excitment on any given weekend, especially during football season. Michigan is definitely the best state to grow up in and to call home and you must always remember that we love you here and that there really is no place like home!!!!Happy Birthday to you my friend and the best is yet to come!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY hopin to see ya in IN. Born Free is in my opinion ur best work yet. I have had a love affair w/ music since my dad got me my first record player at 6 yrs old. Do u remember the old "suitcase" style box record players?it only played 45s. but i thought it was better n penut butter...lolme and my 4 yr old zane jam to the kid rock daily.thanx for keepin it real.

Me and My best friend will be at the feb12th Greenville SC concert. Your music gets us through. Her son is deployed in Afghanistan currently and we are trying to help fight for custody of his 9 Month old son. his wife left him after he deployed. Will you PLEASE play LONELY ROAD OF FAITH that night during the concert!! Is our FAVORITE!!! THANKS ! CHARLOTTE ( AND MY BEST FRIEND IS LAURA! ) FREEDOM AINT FREE!! ROCK ON BABY!

Thank you Kid for your thoughts and this tribute to our troops and their families. It means so very much. Just lost a friend, an Army Ranger, in Afghanistan in August. He was a soldier from Michigan, Pfc Bradley Rappuhn. So heartbreaking for all, especially his family. Please God, bless our American soldiers and their families. See you in GR!
