    Detroit Grand Prix is back!! Got to take a few laps with Hélio Castroneves and Mario Andretti today on Belle Isle, what a treat for a speed freak like myself! Gonna try to make it back from my shows in Boston and AC this weekend to attend the race Sunday. I was told there are a few tickets left, if you can afford it and are looking for some fun, try to come down and support Detroit this weekend. The Island looks great and it should be a great time for all. Either way, have a great weekend folks!

i love those shoes Bob... yeah i know i am a woman and should like different shoes, but since i am a country girl and germans are different anyways, would you ( or someone else pls ) tell me what kind of shoe this is you wear??! they do look totally comfy. :-)

Hopefully---You made it back to watch the Grand Prix :-) If so---You'll have to post and tell us how it was :-) I remember back in the day---Grand Prix weekend was the BEST in Detroit :-) I'm SO GLAD that race is back :-) YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Lol Blue :-) I'm sure that Mario is just short---but He sure can drive the fuck!!!!!!!!! out of a race car!!!!!!!!! :-)

Must have been fun...now, Bob lists his height in various places at 6 feet, one inch. Is Mario officially a little person? Or just well proportioned and short? He sure as heck is shorter than me. I am so surprised! He must stand on a box for his race interviews, lol

AAAAw!! You lucky dog! I just saw the video of you riding with Helio, how cool! My dad used to take us to the sprint car races and motocross at the polka dots. I grew up on dirt bikes cuz my dad used to race enduros when I was a kid. I’ve never been to a Nascar race (but I have been called Terrie Andretti a few times) or Belle Isle, but I’m putting them on my "must do" list, cuz I’m not gonna make it this weekend. :-( I’ve got 3 more weeks of Hell…I mean classes. Then I’ll be dancin in the streets for sure!! Or tables :-) …well, that was a long time ago…and yagermeister was involved! :-) Hope all goes good with your shows and you make it back safe and on time for NASCAR. WOW!?! Sounds like an absolute blast!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU that you got to 'lap' up so much fun!!! You definitely deserve EVERY bit of it. As always, you look FANTASTIC so thank you for posting an awesome picture and filling us in on some of your adventures. I deeply appreciate you and your communication. I've been dancing on Stevi sidewalks but my excitement for summer being here ramps things up a bit. I get my sassy fun summer 'do' at the Bitterroot School of Cosmotology at 1:00. I'm so excited! And the students do a great job and the teacher always checks it out (and we enjoy our lively talks, she being a Broncos fan and all). $8.00 well spent. No garage sale this weekend because I received so much last night, the weather may dwindle the numbers, and I was reminded as I was working in the garage this morning I ain't in NO HURRY today. I'll work on it tonight while my roommate is at a 7:00 meeting. I'm inspired by the Indigo Girls, so I will be thinking of you and your travels as I GET OUT THE MAP and I would love to join you for your Sunday fun, too, so I will be smiling for you throughout your adventures and wishing on the full moon that's coming that I was with you to see the sparkle of your smiling eyes. Gotta run. I'll try to post later. I'm happy you are having great days! Smiles :)

Kid- Since Jerry G. died back in 1995, you have been my main man. Like you PS...dancin in the streets. Not sure the best song for you to knock odd but Tennessee Jed sounds good to me. Wait until you're back in Atlanta to pull that one out of your bag. Can't wait to see your next show. Last year was a great year for you so here's to me hoping that a year like that will come along again real soon. Turned 45 this year so your right behind me...body starts hurting more so keep in shape and keep rocking the house. As always, a hugely devoted fan. TBrown
