Cinbad: post away---your opinion matters!

I have been on many fanclub sites for many years,and the 'personal' dynamic has been on each and every one of them--people need to share what is important to them with others who have similar concerns and interests...doesn't make the site/post more or less important or relevant if that is the case.
What I have done in the past is to comment or read those posts that directly interest me, and bypass the rest. You can get a 'sterile' commentary by reading an article online...and as RSMS said, sometimes things can get quiet without fanclub interaction of any kind.....
My solution to the dilemma would be, if anyone feels there are not substantial topics posted on which to comment on, that said reader would post topics to get the types of conversations/comments going that they wish to see on the site (see 'if you have a problem, offer a solution' idea posted on Suggestions comments a few days ago.) There have actually been some interesting posts in the past few days that are strictly Kid Rock topic-oriented that I haven't seen comments on...(See Negative Press--posted by bluesuedeshoe.) No disrespect, just another opinion.

Hi Cinbad, I see your point.. and I have to agree with all of the above. Like mentioned before, lotta of us know each other, met, have some form of kinship. Some of us may talk about trial and tribulations.. but in most cases it's Kid Rock's music that gets us thru it. Then there are times when fresh new faces come on and get us back to where we need to be..lol Welcome to the party.. and thanks for posting.. and yes, me too.. love to hear Jackson, Mississippi at a show sometime soon. Love that song : )

Honestly, I think the website had been pretty dull there for awhile. Hardly anyone was posting and then it picked up right before the cruise. As for info on the home page, it was pretty few and far between as well. I guess it goes in spurts.

Agree- this site seems to wander when it comes to KR & TBT discussion topics......

I used to be here a lot myself. Now it is sporadic and hope it stays that way for 8 months or so longer. Somewhere thereabouts anyway. I have seen the kaos, the good, the bad and the ugly here @ kidrock.com. I see the good in the KRC i just ain't a member right now as i feel it would be wasting money for me. Perhaps next year...when i am freed up more.

I have seen tightness among some and think it is cool Kid has brought that all together just by having this site. I have seen the loons come and go. I have seen a genuine caring side to most ppl that the rest of society probably deems to be nothing like that. I have seen a good thing keep living and breathing yet i only pass by once in a while.

Looking forward to next year and very hopeful is all i can say! AND on a loony note i hope them Incans or Myans or whatever are wrong about the world ending because i am damn well gonna be pissed if i finally make it through the school i want to and the world ends on me.....and the rest of yas!

I think times, seasons, rhythms, reasons, all have a purpose...we just ain't always aware of it...SO carry on good ppl of Kid Rock Nation...I shall visit you when i can!

I think I get what you're saying Cinbad, you're not the only one...ya wanna see less drama, bullshit, nonsense & the ever present nut bag posts lol. If you hang around for awhile you get to know some really great people:)

that's my husbands favorite song, and I think Kid has only played it once maybe twice in the 10+ years we've been going to his concerts..we mostly hit up Cali concerts so that might have something to do with it..

cinbad here are my thoughts---although all of us on here in some way or another love Kid Rock and TBT some of us use this sight to keep in touch with each other, and discuss our everyday issues, triumphs and stories..Kid Rock brought us all together and now we keep each other together..We have formed friendships and a genuine care for one another..We love to talk all things Kid Rock, but sometimes we need to talk about other things..Now those wacky-do's that make no sence(sp) (don't say a word msb,lol) can go, and it seems no matter what the discussion thread starts out as it ends up involving Kid sex drugs or drinking so all's good, right??anyway I get your point and understand where your coming from.. so to get back on the subject of the man himself for cinbad who's going to Kids next concert and what should his set list be??
