Tammyray: I suspect all her Kid gear went with the house. I gave her my Midwestern 'Ho's t-shirt she had made for us all going on the cruise. I figured it should come back to her. I know her daughter doesn't have any clothes. I hope these ideas help. I bet gift cards would be appreciated as well so they can buy what they truly are in need of at this time.

I have a few items ready to go but do you guys know of anything in-particular that they can use.Maybe something she mentioned in conversation.I think people will be sending enough toiletry items, so any suggestions on something a bit more personal would be nice..Thanks--

Talked to Just Because (Toni) when I got out of work. She is beat and devastated but she is strong and will make it. She is being told that even if the house is salvagable that it will be at least 6 months before she will have her home back. I received the text at 5:37 this morning and did not see it until after 6:00am. I was so shocked it took me over a half hour before I could tell our Woodshop gang. Sorry if I missed anyone my heart was pounding. This is the exact words from her text: Send out a prayer chain my house is on fire I think we lost everything. We stayed an extra day please pray. We had just spent the day all over Northern Michigan on Saturday and had such a good time. We rocked to the video I captured at the DSO at a bonfire and just had a Kid Rocking Blast. I am so glad that we have each other and that everyone of us care so much for each other. It is hard to explain, no one would believe the bond that we have. It is like we are in grade school and have our own little gang. Thanks to everyone that is taking the time and effort to help Toni and her family. Her husband Chris is a master furniture and cabinet maker so the loss of this house is much more devastating than to someone who bought everything at Art Van. It was all personal. I will be taking her to dinner on Friday for my 28th anniversary to my wonderful husband it anyone is interested. I will know place and time as Friday approaches. Sometime after I get out of work at 5 pm. Somewhere near her house. The Vinsetta Garage is suppose to have a soft opening this week. Hopefully by Friday so she does not have to drive to Clarkston for the wonderful food of the Woodshop. I will keep all updated as well as the rest of our team when we have more details. Thanks everyone KRC, KRLL and everyone else who has such a big heart as our friend needs us now more than ever. Blessing to everyone as my favorite song is Only God Knows Why

Hi everyone,
I saw Toni and her husband today. They are waiting to hear if the house structure itself is salvageable. She was able to get a few photos. The photos were drying out on the neighbor's lawn in the sun. I felt so bad for them. Chris had a Made in Detroit shirt on, it's literally the cloth on his back he has left. They are strong but obviously in shock. Thank you to everyone who is helping them out. I gave Toni a hug from all of us. I didn't want to take a picture because it seemed inappropriate but suffice to say, everything inside is a total loss. Sadly, her cats didn't make it. Her little black dog jumped into the firefighters' arms as they went into the house. He made it out ok. Her two large dogs were not at home, but were with her. Her kids are ok, in shock as well. Lots of prayers for them all for strength. They are truly thankful no one was hurt. Thank you Kid Rock Life Line. Please know that Toni is the sweetest, most thoughtful, and soft-spoken, lady. Thanks for looking out for her.

Currently the KRLL is accepting donations via Chip in until 6/9 and we have several packages of clothes, linens and toiletries going out. As soon as we have an address, we will either email who has asked and it will be posted in the facebook group.

oh man.. I'm so sad to hear of this. Toni is such a good person and I feel horrible that this happened to her and her family... yet very thankful to the good Lord that she and the family made it out safe. Please let her know that her local Red Cross chapter in the area can help in these situations, not sure what they can all do, but ours helps in many ways including clothing, toiletries, and even a hotel for a place to stay for a lil while until they can get things running again. Those of you who can't financially help Just Because and her family.. they are always looking for volunteers at your local Red Cross chapter.. you'd be amazed what you see going on in there. I'm gonna go see what I can put together as far as a care package for Toni and family.. but if you could Mrs Cedar.. please give her a hug for us and tell her she's in our thoughts and prayers.

@Sonia316 I'm not sure if that's her house, I do know that Just Because & her husband were up up north at the time of the fire & they lost their cat. Not sure if any of her kids were staying in the home at the time of the fire.
