This bitch just made it home from Boyne Falls. Had a great time with everyone from our Woodshop Crew. Glad most of us could make it on Sat for our get togetjher. HAD A BLAST!

Thimbleberries used to grow all over the U.P.----I remember stopping along the road with my Grandpa as a kid and picking them----they are kinda like a raspberry----and taste GREAT!!!!! ~Lol :-)
So my plan is this----I'm going to go home this Summer----get a jar of Thimbleberry Jam----and give it to You whenever I get to meet You in person :-)

Have a great weekend all...i realize i am absent most of the time here and it will hopefully continue until mid December. Having to miss having a life right now outside of working a couple of days a week and doing school work the rest....I just keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end! I gotta work and study all weekend...next year should be a lot better year...if it doesn't end according to the Mayans/Incans or whoever???
Never heard of Thimbleberry jam??? Does it have seeds like strawberry does? I love walleye....had a walleye sammiche one time @ the DuQuoin State Fair. Very light, not even fishy tasting fish...Wish we had'em around here...too bad someone won't send me a few pounds of 'em!

Northern Michigan is SO
Northern Michigan is SO beautiful! My uncle is from a small town called Rock, MI (LOVE the name) and he always called it "God's Country" up there. My dear friend is from Gaastra, MI. It is so far North and West that you leave Michigan, enter Wishconsin, and continue back into Michigan to get there. Strange, never been there, but that is now she described it.
