Oh ya and thanks to those Families of the soldiers; for all that they give of their Loved ones and within their lives... so that the Soldiers, our American Warriors men and women give for us, DAILY! God bless them all!

MNH - LOL you know actually after the CMT commedy, then Country Strong on another channel, I actually aside from who the "dude" did actually fall asleep to CMT - I admit w/ a smile it's a good one to dream off too. At least I get to go to my dreams w/ a smile :)
Diana - my Dad still says it and either wants to go there, Fl or Cali where my niece is so he can see her and hopefull get to Alaska & Washington state for some fly fishing I think it was. We'll see.
You guys all have a beautiful and safe week end! I'm listening to Veterans' recall during times of not only sacrifice... but - per them - Miracles. It's amazing, when I see a soldier today, these are the stories that I recall as I give thanks and if they let me a hug too! :)))

The UP is beautiful! I live in Southeast, Michigan but the best vacation we had a few years ago was staying in Nuabinway (sp?) and driving ALL OVER the UP......Whitefish Bay, Taquamanon Falls (really can't spell that!), Sault St. Marie, St. Ignase.... having having fires on the beach every night. My son now wants to live up there when he graduates. My uncle is from a small town called Rock, MI ( LOVE the name) He always called it "God's Country" up there!

Hey Bobbie Jean, I'm on Little Bay de Noc on Stonington Peninsula-Rapid River, so west of Newberry.
No bonfires this weekend, high fire alert and wildfires in Seney...supposed to rain, but that's when those walleye come out, so we'll try our luck! I'm going to steal a line from my pal 420, and say we'll be 'Grillin The Most' tonite!! lol

OMGosh Val you are there?!?!?!? You are so lucky, beautiful hugh? That super soft grass is my favorite. The best in the summer gets long and just rolls over. Me and my little brother use to lay in it and watch the stars come out and laugh at Mom cause she would be screaming for and couldn't even see us a few feet away - ahh, good times! :))) Glad that you guys made it safe. If you just happen by Newberry, old Red Camp Road tell everyone the Sparks fam said Hi! :))) What parts are you in? Doesn't matter you'll have a blast, be safe and enjoy!!! :)))

Have a great and safe week end! I always think of my Granny at this time of year. Her husband, Grand Dad passed when she was like 67 or maybe 63. She never dated just knew when she got to heaven one day she would see him again, she did when she was 86. She said she always felt he was with her everyday. Memorial day in the UP she would get dressed up, her best of Sunday best :) Lipstick and all :)) Then we would go for the ceremony and she just took such pride on that day for her Husband and Sons. :) God Bless all those like that too on this day and just all of our World's finest Military including those still serving. :)))
ps- lots of craziness on the road this week end, so be extra safe! :)))
