    I met Kid twice. Both times I met him we were in the Middle East. Both for a good cause. I ate lunch next to him in Qatar at Al Udeid AB and shared a story with him about my Niece and Nephew losing their Dad. He wrote to them personally. I was not suprised. Kid is a very good Man. I met him again before a show he did in Kirkuk Iraq. He shook my hand and said to me " You're over here again?" placing a custom KID ROCK military style coin in my hand during the handshake as we posed for a picture. I said "Yeah, but it's okay. I signed up for this". I thanked him for the kind words he wrote to my family after their loss. I know he remembers this story. I would love to be able to share with him a VERY IMPORTANT story again. I am positive he would want to hear it as it concerns my family as well. Please if you read this and have access to KID then pass on the message to him. Ask him to please please contact me.

Sonia.. not sure if it's still open but there was a donation account open for Tiffany. "There is a special account for Tiffany Dashiell is open @ Regions Bank for donations" I contacted Regions Bank in Vincennes, IN.. there are a few... but the lady did verify that we could send a check to the bank in her name and that they'd see to it that it would go into the account for her.

There is a special account for Tiffany Dashiell is open @ Regions Bank for donations.......Thank you so much for your support it means alot. I agree. Combat Veterans should get Benefits that cover them for as long as they served at least.

Thanks for explaining... I'm ignorant as far as when coverage ends for family. As far as my thoughts are concerned, you sir, and your family should be covered for forever with doing three overseas tours... let alone just one. Hoping you guys do well at the upcoming dinner, dance, and auction benefit. Would you happen to have a chip-in donation page going, by chance for ppl who can't make it but would like to donate?

I Seperated May 2011. When I did she was no longer covered under any military affiliated insurance program. I am unemployed but have full VA Medical Benefits because I am a Combat Veteran for 5 years, Unfortunately the VA will not coer a spouse unless the member retires from the service. I agree, I have literately applied for 600-700 jobs nationwide. I can't understand it. I appreciate the prayer chain and support for my wife she is so thankful for everything.............

Thanks for the link.. is she able to get on your tri-care insurance.. or does she not have any coverage? I was a medical biller before my job was cut and even tho my facility couldn't accept it because we lacked in licensed therapists.. I was told that it's a great insurance to have. Still, I'd imagine with all the extras.. like co-pays, medicine, and other things like chemo.. it still is a huge burden being that you can't find work, and are in school. Hang in there, you guys.

Oh man.. I am so sorry to hear this. I can only close my eyes and pray to God that he will make everything alright for you guys. I've had lots of thoughts in the past about what happens now to our soldiers, now that they are coming back home.. and jobs are lacking all over. This HAS got to get BETTER.... it just has to. Trying to keep my head held high myself there in thinking.. that's there's no other way than up from here. Hold tight to your wife and you fight this together, my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys. God Bless you!

Thanx BECKXY I am now and have been unemployed since I got out of the service in May 2011. I have been enrolled in school full time via the G.I. Bill and barely been able to pay rent with the BAH. I served 3 Overseas tours and 2 of them were almost back to back, thats when I met Kid both times. Well, I am still enrolled in school full time and unemployed. I have filled out literally a thousand applications and no success. The economy is just horrible. In Febuary, 2012 my wife of 8 years was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer that had already begun to spread into her Lymph nodes and into her lungs. She is being treated now at Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis. I am struggling to keep our house and at the same time we are receiving bills by the tens of thousands. I am desperate to keep my wife's spirits high in a time of need, but its getting hard to convince her that we are going to be okay. I really need some help and I KNOW KID ROCK will at least try. He seemed like a very humble and understanding person with the heart of a lion. I hope somebody gets this to him as well. Thanks for your support!!
