I never met Gabe before the cruise, as i could not make that meeting at the woodshop. But i recognized him from the photos that were posted. I saw him on the boat and introduced myself. We partied on the island when he was in the vip ship after the speedo contest. We also had a late dinner with him and his girl Kerry the last night of the cruise. They were really cool and we had a good time. I hope we run into him again at the woodshop.

It was really funny. We were all eating dinner and I noticed him as he walked by. I called after him (Guido) and Cheryl reminded me that really wasn't his name. Cheryl and I were just cracking up at this point. He said his buddies had just woke him up and they probably shouldn't. He didn't have his gold tooth in so it threw me for a second. But, yup, he said he'd be on the boat and he was. I heard he had been in the speedo contest but somehow I missed that competition. Anyway, we also ran into him at the Miami airport as we were heading home. He was a good sport about it all. It'll make for some nice conversation next time we see him. We are all just part of this great big dysfunctional family.

Oh man, I hope Gabe has a good sense of humor about all this...otherwise I don't think I want him waiting on us the next time I go. I don't want a extra "something" put in my sweet potato burrito. j/k haha
