Once upon a time, a Kid Rock show in Detroit was something all my people wanted to go to. It was the cool thing to do, the cool place to be, a good time for all. Now my mom wants to go, my aunt calls for tickets, and my teachers from High School frequent the shows. Once upon a time, he was a devil without a cause, now he is all religous during his shows, making me feel as if he is a zealot without a cause. The lyrics and content used to be on the edge, its what made him who he is, now its pathetic and same ole same ole. Why do I hold on?

We met a guy at the gym toast named Johnnie Walker. We never saw him again on the boat. He showed me his license, he really was named that. TFF. We never did meet up with Bart.

It didn't help any that we were stuck at the drill stations all that time.. felt like they got on the loud speaker at least 10 times or more to quiet everyone down before they could proceed and it was hot in there elbow to elbow. We were on deck 4 at the back of the boat.. then had to run up all them flights of steps to 9th to get on the lido (the exercising back home def helped me to not run outta steam..lol) ~except I didn't have any water to hydrate :x And then he had to pee once we got a spot on the lido.. and I was like well good luck getting back here.. so he held it the whole time.. what a trooper..lol So like afterwards.. we were so exhausted.. thought geez we are getting old..lol
Beckxy, I didn't make it to
Beckxy, I didn't make it to the meetup in the gym, either...I wish I had, and I planned to (I even had 8 plastic wine glasses and the Hello My Name Is tags with Sharpie). I felt sick after the show, the sun beating down on me, I was dehydrated, the boat rocking. We went back to the room to get our bearings.

It was a pure pleasure meeting you, Cedar. I was not able to attend the CKR function but was happy that I did run into lil Jess on the boat and bought a book off of her as promised. Did anyone catch the Rocky Horror Picture show crew walking around for Red Carpet Rejects.. tooo funny. Did you guys end up going to the gym and meeting up after the sail away show? I didn't make that either. I don't think I ran into K8 nor TammyRay, but I did walk past a lady with a big purple top hat and I think that may have been her. I couldn't stop b/c this was right after the sail away and my mission was to get water.. and he had to pee..lol. Anyway.. good times with great people : )

Girls, it was so great to meet you. Talk about a chance encounter...when I realized who you two were, I was so happy to finally meet you in person and give you a squeeze! Words just can't explain the experience. I can not thank you enough for supporting Dawn and CKR. I hope you enjoyed yourselves.
Do either of you remember the guy who walked to CVS or Walgreens with us, Todd? Know who he was with? My hubby saw him with a guy in a wheelchair at the Marriott. If you find any pics let me know, or if you know who he is, I would greatly appreciate any info.
