Wow! People are so quick to judge. For the record, Kid had been standing there hanging out for a good 5-10 minutes. Nobody in my general area bothered him AT ALL. Nobody asked for a picture. He happened to step over to say something funny to the other girl and they chatted for a minute. It is a vacation - people take snapshots. I've seen many snapshots from other cruises. Point of the matter is that neither Kid or his security shook their heads, gave the "don't do that look", or anything of that nature. Andy was rude. All he actually would have had to do was shake his head and I would have put my camera away. There were several cameras snapping away and he decided to be rude to me. Fact of the matter is I didn't take the picture and I walked away.
Just to be clear, I was trying to be nice. If I were that girl, I would have been so excited to get a candid shot! Based on the conversation going on here, I will never try that again. Apparently it would not be appreciated.
AND I ran into Kid several times throughout the weekend and didn't even THINK about trying to take his picture. Same goes for a lot of the other artists.
I agree that Kid should be able to hang on the beach without people approaching him. But as I stood there not talking to him or taking photos (which was my choice and I am perfectly okay with), people came by and shared a drink, others went by and leaned in to say "what's up", etc. He was perfectly cool about it and was having fun.
I still say that Andy was out line.

What Kid says at the sail away is that he just took a photo with everyone on the ship for the last four hours; and, if he had to stop to take another photo with everyone again that would be kind of fucked up. I wasn't looking to get a photo with him, just wanted to say thanks (although, interestingly enough, the gal that was allowed to talk to Kid did ask if she could get a photo with him and he obliged). And no, Beckxy, I didn't get up in anyone's face, interrupt a conversation, nor talk too fast since I didn't talk to Kid at all on the beach. And, I'll bet my FIVE CTM paid fares, that Heather didn't either. Apparently, the fatal mistake I made was to actually thank Andy while boarding the ship for thinking all this fun up and making it happen. I asked him how he did it, but I won't repeat his surprising and funny answer to that question as to not get sued for libel. The entire conversation lasted about two minutes. Second mistake was that I approached Andy, for only the second time, on the beach, not Kid. As, I said, it's about Andy's power trip. "You've been trying to get to Kid through me from day one." he said. Huh and WTF?!! The guy is fucking delusional and an egomaniac. This dead horse has been beaten enough. Here's my opinion. I find Andy Levine to be a rude ass. Here's a fact. He's not getting anymore of my money. That's all I'm sayin. No matter if he thinks I'm a stalker or a dollar sign that can easily be replaced, I cordially invite him to GO FUCK HIMSELF!!

idk, you guys, KR pretty much has spelled it out every year at the sail away show. The guy just sat down and took 4000 pics (I say 4000 b/c I was looking thru at how many folks actually got single pics with him this year rather then the group # in the room) but anyway, he says about keeping cool if ya see him out and about, not running up on him, or snapping photos...ect. And, I will admit.. we took snippets of the sail away show.. tho after reading this, I'm so down with never taking another picture or video again, because I am so WRONG in doing so. And I think what's really hard for fans is you may see him out and about, giving someone who may be in front of you some time for a small chat, and even an autograph or picture, which then in turn makes everyone around him think... well how bout me boss? and me boss? and me boss? 'yea i watch to many cartoons as a kid'.. anyway.. I think it quickly gets carried away for the guy, overwhelming. Can you imagine being in his shoes. I need to defend LK on this one! I was in the same spot probably a song or two before your video clip. Kid leaned over and said something funny to the girl in front of me and so she took a step or two over to chat for a second. Her and her group were so fun and nice, I thought that I should snap a quick photo of her with Kid. While there were tons of other people pointing cameras in his direction, Andy was yelling at me saying "remember it in your brain". I said it's a cute photo opp, she'll like it. All he kept saying was "remember it in your brain". Who talks like that? So, even though Kid was hanging out on the beach right next to our group, I walked away. Believe me, he doesn't need Andy protecting him. He's got a solid security team. He gets along fine without Andy every other weekend out of the year!

IDK, Andy is right next to Kid in the video, doesn't look like he was doing too much protecting. He told me if I want to say anything to him that he'd be leaving in a little bit and I could go stand over there (he pointed to the left of the wooden ship) and wait there. I asked him, "Why would I need to do that if he's right here?" Fuck that, so I didn't say anything to Kid and I went the opposite direction of where he said to go. I ended up making a b-line up the ramp to what looked like a bar. I didn't know it was one big bar 'til I got in there and then saw the guy from Hellbound Glory. I wanted to talk to him since we both grew up in the same town. I had no idea, or intention, of ending up in Kid's group. And, sure I'm glad I got a smidgen of time with KR, and it would have been longer if it wasn't for Andy coming up to haul me off like a criminal in front of Kid. I said, "Bye, Kid, I'm getting kicked out of here." And, here's what he said to that, "Sixthman are assholes and just know they're the ones kicking you out, not me." At one point Andy said, "You've been trying to get to Kid through me from day one!" Wow, what a fucking loon! Sorry Mr. Ego, I've met Kid plenty of times and it had nothing to do with you twit!
All my friends, no doubt,
All my friends, no doubt, would say I'm one of the most laid back, easy-going people they know. I don't let too much shit get to me. In fact, I said to myself right after all this BS went down, "I can't let that ass ruin my day, I'm in Redneck Paradise for fuck sake!" But, later, I just couldn't shake off the fact that the guy has gotten a lot of my money and he really did treat me like a POS. Since times are so tough for everyone, none of my friends could afford to go on any of these cruises and they don't seem to have the same Kid Rock priorities as me ; ). So, for the first two cruises I went alone, but paid for two full fares, not once but twice (later getting 75% of those second fares back because of the CFAR insurance). So, that means I paid 5 fares and, of course, Andy got a huge chunk of that money. I just can't give someone like him, who treated me so poorly, anymore of my hard earned money. And, now he's even tainted the other two trips for me, and that really gets my goat as well. Nonetheless, I did have a blast on all three cruises, fun times and fun memories to cherish.

Yeah, if anyone is delusional it's Andy Levine!! My photos are posted in the order I took them. I enjoyed the beach, the band, the beauty that was surrounding me ; ) and then was shoulder to shoulder with KR, which seemed like a good time to say "thanks" -- but, no. I mean butt hole!!
Gotta share my next rude encounter that happened only a few hours later. I was at the poker table when Kid arrived at the craps table. The gal sitting next to me asked what is so special about watching Kid gamble. Of course, most of us are on the ship because of him and some flew not only across the country to see him, but some even trekked across the world!! So, is it really all that strange to watch him play craps and get in some eye candy, which included Yelawolf. Who, btw, seemed to be a decent guy when he was out later that same night without his bodyguard. I was gonna tell him that one of my cabin mates was not only from his home town of Gadsden, AL, but from the same neighborhood. I was right near him, but this one guy kept blocking ; ) and then Yela walked over to some other guys and I was like, fuck it, I'm going to bed. Saturday, I think he was trashed (and, apparently rude to a few people from what I heard; and, his bodyguard didn't want people getting photos of him drunk off his ass). Anyway, I did walk over to watch KR play craps (and the eye candy got even better when he Kid took off his shirt -- hello?!! ; }~

Anyway, I digress . . . I got up to watch Kid gamble, but I stood between the craps table and a 21 table, I actually got to see the table too that way. Eventually, this gal playing at the craps table with her husband says to me, "Can I ask you a question?" Yeah? "Why are you standing there?" The only other fucked up encounter was the guy going around groping women on the dance floor. One touch may be a mistake, but two?!! I was in that guy's face so fast and that fucker got an earful from me! He didn't come near me after that. Creepy!! Um, Andy, that kind of behavior should get the threat of no return on the cruise; or, perhaps the public fornicators in the hot tub (it is a party after all, but please people there are kids on board). Seems that my fatal mistake was acknowledging and thanking Andy when first boarding the ship for thinking up these fun rock n roll chartered cruises. Now, I have other words for him! Hard earned, hard to come by money is right and I'm so pissed that the guy has gotten a "boatload" of $1 bills from me. Looks like a European vacation for me next year instead people. Sure I love KR (but not in a dangerous stalker kind of way, give me a fucking break!!) Those cruises are really a lot of fun, it's just the principle of matter.
