I live in Florida. Still in the "can I afford it stage" but am really planning on going. Have you ever gone on a kid rock cruise?

Dona I am in the same boat -- would love to meet someone to share cabin. Where are you from?

Trying to go on my first "Chillin' the most cruise" in 2013. Looks like I am going to be alone. Is there a chance of finding someone willing to share a cabin?

Contact Vector in Nashville, his mgt. Think his fee is pretty high, but if you can afford it, have a great birthday.

Also have seen folks get great cabins 72 hrs before the cruise. Keep saving, stay in touch with the folks at Sixthman, and I wish you the best of luck, Sandra.

I think a 2013 cruise might be in the cards for me! I'm working on my husband... we have been to 3 shows and REALLY enjoyed last summers at the Comcast center in MA. The opening band was a great band, followed by Cheryl and then the KID. What a great evening!
I was boo hoooing this year because Kids' only show in the Boston area was the House of Blues and I couldn't get tix :(. Although it sounds like maybe it wasn't the best venue. Went to Vegas the first time this year but missed him by a month :).
Did anyone see him in Jan. at the HOB in Vegas?
Anyways..... because I am missing his shows I think I HAVE to go on the 2013 cruise? he... he...he. What do you all think?
I'll be keeping my eyes open and hope to jump on that band wagon!
Hope to see you all there.

TX Girl: There is some time (a week?) between the announcement and when you have to book. They start with the "veterans" (previous CTM cruisers). They get their first choice, then KRC members, then the general public. There are a lot of price ranges, so it just depends on your budget and how much room you want in your cabin. Some people want to get on the boat for a lower price because they don't spend any time in their room. Some people wanted more room and a balcony.

We took that extra week to look at the layout of the boat on Carnival's website. They have sample pictures of each cabin type. Then it's just a matter of being closer to the elevators/stairs...more noise, less noise, etc. Seems like the pricing was pretty close year-to-year. So, if you are interested, I think you can still go to the CTM3 website and get the pricing info. Have a general area where you want to be and what is important to you, then you can modify if your first choice isn't available. We spent about an hour looking at Carnivals site and writing down cabin number in the order we wanted them. Then we just worked our way down the list when we booked. It took some of the pressure off. Sixthman will give you a date and specific time you are able to log in to book.

Hope that helps.

How do I go about getting on the mailing list for any 2013 cruise? After all the challenges last cpl of yrs I'm putting this at the top of my bucket list. His energy & music are what can take me through the roughest of days & much more.I'm already a member of the KRC but do I need to sign up anywhere else for info cause i don't want to miss out on it while I can

For those of you that have already been on a cruise before, any tips on how fast to book, which cabins to book when booking and what price range can a a trip for two be expecting?

I was wondering if I couldn't make it on the cruise this year but went in 2011 if I would still be on the mailing list for information regarding the cruise in 2013?

We see 2012 ain't looking that bright for me but 2013 could be possible is all i can say....and it will be well deserved if so @ that point!!!!

I try not to plan to far ahead though! Take it as it comes...Got some good news on other lines the last few days....now it is time to kick back and soak up the month of DECEMBER....

bihawine's picture

the past 2 times kid rock tells everyone on the ship he want to to it again and within 2 weeks to a month there is info sent out i believe to all the KRC members and all the folks who have been on past cruises.

TammyRay's picture

I don't think that's part of the KRC I believe that's for the kidrock.com websites (this one) mailing list, but I could be wrong..

Mr. Bart's picture

I just checked my email archives.

The email for the 2011 cruise (New Orleans to Cozumel) was sent on 5/27/10 from kidrock@mail.atlanticrecords.com......I'm on so many KR distribution lists, I'm not sure if that is the KRC or not?

So, there is plenty of time for the 2013 announcement!

sdream's picture

Thanks! I assume it will be announced here on the KRC first.

The last couple of cruises, they announced the date far in advance. Look for something in May/June of 2012 for the April 2013 cruise.
