Since he first became famous, Kid Rock has consistently repped the Motor City to America and the rest of the world through music videos, songs and interviews. But the rocker isn't just talk -- he's bought a new mansion on the shores of the Detroit River to prove his dedication.
Kid Rock has purchased a 1930 home located in the historic Joseph Barry subdivision on Detroit's East Side (unlike a few other local news outlets, we're not posting the address.) Land records show he bought the home in a private sale on January 27.
The 6,000 sq. ft. colonial has white columns and a truly magnificent 37,000 sq. ft. lot with frontage on the Detroit River. The three-story home also features six bathrooms and a finished basement.
