    Pre Cruise Parties ~ Miami

    I have sent John Stone a message to find out what, if any, pre party is being planned. I have yet to hear back.

    To date I am only aware of the CKR pre party at WEAM put on by Dawn Scovill;

    Where:      World Erotic Art Museum ~ 1205 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139; 305.532.9336

    When:       4:00 p.m. ~ 6:00 p.m.

    FREE shuttles from Downtown Courtyard Marriott at 4p and 4:30p!
    (returns at 6p, 7p, and 8p)

    Afterwards, we will head to another planned party, or if one is not planned, head to South Beach to the Clevelander where we are hoping to block off some space on the roof top. That, however, is not etched in stone as I expect to see some pre parties popping up through Sixthman and others, and would like to hit those up.  It's a place to start though :)

    Come one, come all, let's rock Miami!

    I'll be hitting as many as I can. See you all down at the beach!

Beckxy ~ I would imagine many will be riding back to the same hotel as you, from Grand Central, and you'll be able to split the $$ Also, once you've paid the WEAM monies, you can ride the limo non stop through Miami to all of it's stops. It's unlimited. Yes, lil Jess will be there represet'n her chairity and her book, as well as selling them :)
ROCKDEEKID ~ If you have face book you can RSVP on the event page https://www.facebook.com/events/225049847553477/ if not, please email, dawn@dawnscovill.com to RSVP and please, put "RSVP" in the subject line. All details are on the link i pasted here. You should be able to see them by just pasting the link in your browser. Once you've paid your admission to WEAM your rides to any and all stops are bought and paid for. Ride as often as you like. The Grand Central show was just announced so I'm not certain how late after that show the limos will run. I'll have to check the event myself. However, I think the closest stop to your hotel will be close to the Clevelander. That should be close enough to your hotel. Just check to be certain as I didn't think the cars would be "in service" after the show. I hope i didn't confuse you more. Did that answer your question?

were staying at the beacon which I believe is not that far from the WEAM pre party is it possible we will be able to catch a ride to grand central and if so what about back to our hotel? Do I need to rsvp and if so, how?

idk where I have been.. but apparently not in this thread for a long while. Sounds like you two are REALLY getting the party started. I read back where msb and k8 posted to me about parking and renting a car... and thank you... decided not to do it - looks like too much of a hassle. We are in a hotel on 36th street by the airport. Way far away from any of these pre-parties. However, that being said.. I see there is a bus that runs from the airport to SB for 2.35 pp.. and even tho' we're trying to make sure we don't go over a budget that we have created for ourselves... I'd really hate to miss seeing the city at it's finest since we are from PA.. and who knows if we will ever get there again. I like all the stuff that's included in the price.. especially the transportation to the John Stone pre-party. I could also see us wanting to have at least one drink somewhere beachside at some establishment... just so we can say we did it..haha So, now that we are real close to cruise time we are really considering this. It looks like the only thing we'd have to worry about is a cab ride back to our hotel after the JS 'sixthman cruise' pre-party. Thanks for all the info... is lil Jess gonna be selling books there, too?

The roof top lounge is awesome. Indeed, the jackpot!
WEAM RSVP's reached over 100!!!!! Woooo Hoooo Ain't no party like a Kid Rock party. If you haven't had a chance to read CKR it's available on amazon or you can download it to your kindle or whatever androidish thing you have. Not sure how much of this story Dawn will expand on but, Chasing Kid Rock is an amazing tale. My famous saying to Dawn...., "EXACTLY WHO'S CHASING WHOM?"

I felt like I hit the jackpot with getting into that hotel----just booked the room on Monday---
They were also running a 25% off "Summer sale" so also got a killer discount!!!!!! So, I feel double Blessed :-) ~Woooo-Hooooo!!!!!! ~Lol
I ended up booking a room there for the two nights after we come back to Miami as well.
Apparently, they have a rooftop deck---wonder if we are allowed to sleep up there? That would be awesome :-)

Indeed, you are in a really good hotel. Don't know when you booked but you were lucky to get in there. It's one of the many art deco buildings in SoBe. Walking is the best way around that whole area. Often you can walk ten blodks and not even realize it because there is SO much going on around you to see. ONE WEEK!!!

Tammy ~ I'll have to googlemap your hotel and get back on that. I do know Dawn has added four stops total for the two limos she's hired. From what I understand they are as follows; Marrott 2nd, WEAM, Marriott BaySide, The Clevelander, South Beach or vicinity.

Okay, Tammy, your in the 34th or 35th block of Collins on the ocean (nice flipping hotel ps, enjoy) the Weam is off of 12th and Washington, which is one block West of Collins. You're not that far. Once your in the area, the stops will get you pretty much anywhere you might find cruises.

k8- I'm curious as to the distance between where I'm staying (the Claridge) and the Marriott on 2nd and the Marriott on Bayside, which one is closest to me??.. No I didn't talk to Dawn herself got that info from a post she posted on ctm family fb I think.. oh before I forget

Now I understand, due to popular demand, the limo will stop at both Marriotts (Bayside and 2nd St.) in addition to WEAM and South Beach. We've reached over 100 RSVP's. This is gonna be the shit! We are going to ROCK Miami like never before!

Tammy, until we know more from Sixthman, that's the plan. I would imagine though, once announced, that will be the next stop after the WEAM, the Sixthman official pre party :)

For any of you driving down on the 23rd or 24th, lets meet at the Square Grouper in Jupiter, it's the Indidantown Rd./St. Rd 706 Exit off of I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. Google The Square Grouper at 1111 LOVE ST., JUPITER, FL Now how can you not want to go there? LOL
