I am so excited after meeting so many great KRC members at the Union I am jumping the gun and starting the cruise countdown. So here goes:

That's what I was hoping to do (carry on) until I read the limitations. Yeah, pretty excited but I mostly wanted to see if I could fit everything in my carry on bag. I know I'm a goof :) Thanks, guys I will try more items that fit into quart size bag.

I can't believe You guys are already packing!!!!!!!! I wish We could stuff EVERYTHING in Our ~carry-on----and be done with it---lol

I've carried more then 3 items on JB..They just can't be larger then 3 oz. I believe..As long as your stuff fits into a quart size baggie your fine..you can always pick up a larger size hair spray, sunscreen, shampoo etc.. once you arrive in Hott Miami..Just carry on some essentials just in case you get stuck in the airport, or your checked luggage does not arrive the same time you do..That happened to me last cruise..Luggage was a few hours behind!!...

I'm packed except for the essentials that have to go in just before we leave. Not sure if I want to do just a carry on or check my bag. Worried I won't be able to take my make up and hair stuff plus sun screen without checking it. Read online you are limited to 3 (3oz). containers. Let's see...shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen. That's it, no body lotion, foundation, lip gloss etc. Oh well, small price to pay for beauty LOL What are you guys doing?

I just thought of something...I have never "done" Spring Break. Bob describes this cruise as a "Spring Break for adults' (although I betcha we are all going to act like a bunch of juvenile deliquents-LOL). Anyway, I guess it's better late than never for me. 32 DAYS mf's!!!!!!!

Ladies, I have a girl willing to come to us at either the Marriott or Holliday Inn Airport for spray tanning. She has a tent and her product is ALL ORGANIC! That's big considering most of us don't realize all the shit we put on our skin is so bad for us. It's our largest organ, you know...Anywho, go to face book, if you have it, the event is calle "Organic Spray Tan Me" I'm the host, Katie Carlo, and she is giving us a group rate. I'm hoping to be in Miami on the 25th around 11:00 am. She will tan in waves if that's necessary. I'm thinking spray tan since I cannot do the suntan booth due to Melanoma a couple of years ago. That is the only thing that will be fake on this body.

I have not received a email from sixthman, I went to site and found my booking number but what about confirmation number. Do you all recommend booking excursions now or wait? Do you think my sister will be good with just a birth certificate and liscense, how long does it take to get the enhanced liscense?
I'm not 100% sure but I thought I read somewhere we need an "enhanced license" from sec. of state. You have to show proof of citizenship and soc. security number. plus 45.00 fee of course!
yes either or is acceptable--a passport or birth certificate..If I remember correctly it's needed when you go through customs..

Also, like Denise, I heard that about the passport, also. I have one, but not sure if nieces do. I'm sure I checked into it was back in July, but do not remember. I read on the sixthman site that proof of citizenship (birth certificate) and driver's license. I'm sure last year going to Mexico, a passport was necessary.
I'm a first timer also and am getting really excited, but when reading some posts I am a little confused, was told by sixthman that you did not have to have passport , do you?

this Island thing is a new one even for us triple chillers, but no, no Hotel room is needed. We all need to be back on the ship at a certain time each evening..
for boarding you wait in several long ass lines, and meet some great people..
Sixthman and Carnival make it very easy and explain every process and what you'll need(passport, ID, Boarding Pass etc.) as it's happening..
photo op-another long ass line--they have him blocked off so you can't see him until it is your time for a picture with him, they take any belongings you have with you, purse, bag camera, etc. you walk over to Bobby, say something quick, pose smile and snap it's over..and they hand you your stuff back, if you do bring a small gift for him that is the time to hand it to him..
Sixthman puts together a little booklet of performers, times, games, etc. you can pick and choose what to do and what to skip.. Hope this helped... Just look for the Purple Top Hat if you'd like to buy me a drink, just sayin' (lol)
