    Cruise Newbie! Need some advice!

    My boyfriend and I are newbies on this years Chillin' the Most Cruise! April 26th will be here before you know it too!

    With the new site launching and not being on here in awhile I lost the threads of chatting with other cruisers on what to bring and what to expect! Now I know I am going to have the time of my life, drink a lot of beer and not get much sleep. So I am prepared!

    To all those who have cruised before, help a sister out! What are some things that I absolutely need to bring with me? I've checked the Carnival site and made a list but I just don't want to forget anything.

    Extension cords, mini fans, rum runners?

    Any help would be great!

We were actually going to try and do the scope bottle filled with vodka - BUT we decided on doing the rum runners!

your welcome Just Because... yea that happened to me the first year... got real sick from it.

Yea, Lisa.. gotta bring it in your carry on thru the port. They allow 12 cans or bottles of whatever you choose non-alcoholic beverages... soda, water, juice. You can also bring a bottle of wine or champ. on your carry on... if it has a cork and you wanna drink it in the dining room they charge you a cork fee to open it. My advice.. get a bottle without a cork ; )

Hi Samantha, I believe we chatted for a lil bit.. your picture is so cute... how could I forget you : ) Tammy covered a lot of it... but don't forget to bring your drinking shoes.. your gonna need them..lol Hope we can say hello to each other on the boat.. you are gonna have so much fun. Oh and bring some bottled water, like a 6 pack to get ya started... sun is very hot.. don't wanna dehydrate. If ya finish it all... I think they have drinking water at the drink station that you can fill your bottle back up again.. it's okay to drink.. don't waste your money buying them 4 - 5 dollar ones that Carnival sells.

Hi Samantha!

I just got back from a Carnival cruise a couple of days ago and am excited to go on the Kid Rock cruise in a few weeks. Definitely bring sunscreen! My skin is used to the sun and I still burned. I also brought a portable fan that helped circulate air in my cabin and drown out the noise in the hallways when I was sleeping (which wasn't much lol). Bring one of those things that you can plug in multiple electrical outlets into (I forget what they are called) and also an extension cord so you can use some things in the bathroom. There is an outlet in the bathroom but you will need one of the gray adaptor things so you can plug things into it. Thanks Tammy! Yeah, I know you and other have given real good advice and things to make sure to bring. But I couldn't remember where to find them. So I appreciate you listing those on here = )

Hi Sam, I know I sent you a detailed list before,(on Sixthmans forum and on here some where I think) but this ones just straight up off the top of my head..
Sunscreen, Aloe, Sunglasses, Chapstick, Sandles, Hoodie (gets a bit chilly at night on the lido deck) hat, sea-sick patches, pills (whatever it takes) and a camera..I'm sure others will chime in and give more ideas..See ya' on the boat..
