Did anyone else read that Sixthman announced Theme Night #1? From what I read but could not find myself was that the "70's" will be one of the theme nights..I for one am not excited and a bit disapointed about it, and now not sure if I will participate or not, anyway just wanted to spread the word..

To me, seventies is what was in the media as styling.....Cher, etc. Googled images, "70's dress" and here is the link:

https://www.google.com/search?q=70's+dress&hl=en&prmd=imvns&source=lnms&tbm=isch&ei=77tzT-7MN4Gggwff8Lhi&

Pre-rek.....you need good legs if female (lol).

I was surfing web for seventies wear for women and hawaiin shirts or floral print was one, so do you think a hawaiin dress I have is seventies?

Not really into any of the themes.. don't have much of a budget to spend this year... so I'm gonna dress myself the best way I can..lol. I saw one of my friends post that for her 70's outfit.. she's just gonna put on her favorite Black Sabbath shirt.. which sounds like a plan to me. I may have to rock my Pink Floyd T that night ; ) And, I come up with a plan for Red Carpet Rejects... but it's more of a theme rather then dressing like a celeb.. as I'm already a reject..haha

Ready to Rock that Boat up and down the Coast : ) See yall soon !!

Hope mom is doing well :)

I found a pair of bell bottom jeans at Meijer today in the clearance section. Was perusing for some temporary button or zip tops for my mom since she can't lift her left arm above her shoulder for 4 weeks cuz of the pacemaker surgery and the jeans were staring me right in the face. I really don't have time to shop or go thrifting for outfits so it'll all just have to do. Heard All Summer Long on the radio taking kids home from school, cranked it up naturally, and thought about us all on the beach ...hitting that sand and playing some ROCK AND ROLL...

is anyone dressing up for the themes??? Most people don't seem so thrilled with the theme nights so far (hard to believe cruisers actually hand picked these and they were the top picks)anyway there's talk of maybe instead of dressing in the planned theme that maybe we do our own 1 suggestion was Fuckin' (age) shirts--Now that one I'm all over, and already have my shirt being made..so who's in on that??for those of you that don't have fb, I'll keep ya' posted on what the plan is..

Red Carpet Rejects Night - We all know who our favorite celebrities are. It's the ones who go off the deep end and shave their heads or find themselves as a weekly addition on TMZ. Maybe they even have the best/worst mug shots. Or maybe your favorite character from a movie is Bo Duke or Daisy Duke. Celebrities, characters, themes, oh my! In any case, it's time to dress like your favorite celebrity or character, and show the world how the A-List (or the D-List, depending on the costume) like to party--

gotta say not so pleased with this one either!! I can't believe Kid himself approved these themes..don't want to blow any more surprises so keep your eye on your email peoples--

Geek Alert!!! I've seen every episode of The Streets of San Francisco!! And, I had a HUGE crush on the very handsome Richard Hatch!! ; )~

For me, dressing up is just plain fun no matter the theme.

I can not wait. Not terribly thrilled with the theme, as I lived the seventies, and when I look back at the pictures, I think, "OMG, did I actually dress myself?" LOL Can't wait though to make the best of a good time with you guys. WE'RE ALMOST AT A MONTH!!!!
Hey, Tammyray, why don't you pick a favorite charachter from the 70's and go as them, no necessarily choosing a star who wore poly. Wear a cop uniform with hand cuffs and such, and represent, The Streets of SanFran. If we are doing a redneck paridise night you could do a twofer and incorporate some Walton's wear into both costumes...lol just thinking out loud and totally getting the lack of desire to wear polyester : /
MRSB ~ My heart aches for ya, girl. Wish I could hug you. Your not alone...
Oh, and I am respectfully stepping aside for the, "BigBushContest" but will happily judge, if needed. LOL

I guess I need to start looking for some clothing to wear for the 70's theme night. . . I really do like the Made In Detroit theme night. Or just wearing old school vs. new school Kid Rock concert tee's/ sporting your best kid rock gear.

I feel like I haven't been on the site in awhile. How is everyone doing?
