    **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN OFFICIAL "PAPERLESS TICKET" EVENT!**

    Tickets to see Kid Rock perform with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, May 12 in Detroit, MI, go on sale this Saturday at 10am at OlympiaEntertainment.com and Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are available for $100, $150, $250 and $350 and a limited number of "Rock the Symphony" VIP packages, which include premiere seating and access to an exclusive after party, will be made available for the event.

    Tickets are also available without service fees at The Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena and Hockeytown Authentics in Troy box offices. To charge tickets by phone, call (800) 745-3000. For more information on "Rock The Symphony" VIP packages including premiere seating and after party access, please call the DSO offices at (313) 576-5100.

    The unprecedented pairing of Kid Rock, Leonard Slatkin - "America's Music Director" - and the men and women of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will take the stage of Detroit's historic Fox Theatre for a one-night only fundraising concert to raise critical funds for the legendary orchestra. The idea was originally conceived by Kid Rock and Rock Ventures Founder Dan Gilbert to help save the DSO.

I plan to leave TX 'round May 1st, just so I have plenty of time to get to Detroit for this event! It will B the first trip I take in my RV 'and I'm so excited! I am also proud to be a supporter of the DSO...I believe our children need to B exposed to all kinds of music...and the symphony orchestra is my personal favorite! Cant wait to experience this! (Scratch this one off my "bucket list" ) An evening with the DSO and Kid Rock and you'll think you died and went to Heaven! Lol!!

Got mine:) Sorry folks have trouble getting presale tix. Not really sure why. I got mine while riding in the backseat of the car on my iPhone at 3:30pm on Friday while on a road trip from Tulsa to Thackerville for his shows last week. I didn't think there was a chance in hell I would get any but I did. They were the $250 ones. I also got some when they went on sale to the public using my IPhone. Again, I didn't think I would but everything worked fine for me. I'm not trying to rub things in but I always get my tix thru fanclub presale and NEVER have problems. Not really sure why others do.

Just for the hell of it I just went on (its almost midnight) and hit 2 best available and it brought up 2 floor tickets. So it's not sold out yet. Keep trying best of luck

Please announce a SECOND show. I wasnt able to get tickets today and missed your pre-sale email! I tried for an hour striaght hitting the back buuton when it said no tickets, sure that ones that were in others carts would drop back into circulation but no luck. I'm sure there are alot of fans like me who tried and failed to get tickets today. Hey if you and DSO are gunna practice for one show ... might as well raise some more money in a second nights show! PLEASE!!

CLW & Larry, I'm happy you were able to get tickets. I am NOT one who got "no tickets" and just gave up. I know that if you try again and again, they get released from the shopping carts of others who were too slow to fulfill the purchase. I started at 9:30 this morning, made sure my CC info was in at ticketmaster, and at 9:50 started the "refresh" until the box office showed they went on sale. I kept at it until 10:30. No other windows open, and my internet connection is lightening speed. I can usually get pre-sale, but didn't get the email until the pre-sale was OVER. And I'm very upset. My mom and I have been looking forward to this since Kid announced the club tour. We've been so excited that he was doing something more up close and personal than a large venue. I would be more than happy to pay for the high priced seats if I could, cuz I feel he is worth it, and that is the only time in my life I will ever get that close to him. But, I'm on disability, and can't do that on a fixed income. My mom can't either. Even if we each buy our own tickets, it's not easy. I did have the high dollar tix come up, but I just couldn't do it. I wish we would have gotten the pre-sale email earlier. I would have been right there. But, getting it when it's over, doesn't do much good. No true fan tries once and gets a "no tickets" and stops. We all know. I even hung around waiting for another show to be added, even opening another tab and refreshing on the kid rock page at ticketmaster to be able to jump on a second show. I would have waited in line overnight in these high winds to see him, but I'm on disability for a reason, and cannot do that with my medical condition. My only hope is to get the suite thru a friend, who won't know for a few days, and, which I HOPE is less than the $500 for the tickets.

I was so lucky to get seats last night at 8PM...I know they were leaving people's carts and then coming to me. I got main floor pretty far back but I don't care....I even got aisle seats!!! Too excited. I wish everyone that wanted to go could go...Need another CoMerica concert maybe!

I'm a real fan, and I never was able to get any tickets. Had there been regular tickets offered, there would be tickets for sale on other sites for reasonable prices. But because of this idiotic paperless ticket, I simply will not be able to attend one of the coolest KR shows of all time. And I am really really pissed about it. And from the looks of it, a lot of others were shut out as well.

Also, keep hitting refresh as tickets are released from peoples carts. My friend got tickets at 12:10 for $100 a piece. Patience is a virtue lost on many. And presale tickets were still being sold yesterday until almost 1pm. This is where "if at first you dont succeed, try, try again"

For those that say save the tickets for your real fans, he did. The fan club had a presale yesterday and about half the tickets were released to the Kid Rock Congregation. Today was opened to everyone, and for once fans had there best chance at face value. As of 12:30 there were only 6 tickets for sale on Stub Hub (still trying to figure out how they plan to use them).

If your trying to get tickets from a wireless connection, that doesn't work very well when tics first go on sale. A computer with a hard line hook up works best with no other web windows open and if your computer is old and slow, your never going to get tics when ticket master is busy.

if it's true that you must present id as the purchaser, and the credit card used to purchase at the event - how in the hell can the jacked-up tickets available on reseller sites be legitimate?! so pissed about the undercover 2 ticket limit during presale (it still says 4 ticket limit for presale!!) - got screwed by the time i circled back
