Will you be playing at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis again this year? I sure hope so! You put on the BEST show EVER!!! I will never forget in 2010 when you came out on stage & thanked everyone for spending their hard earned money to be there to see you & your band in concert, especially when times were so hard for so many. You promised to give everyone their money's worth & you did that & then some!!! It really meant a lot to me because I'm a single Mom & had just been layed off from my corporate job due to the economy 3 months prior to that night. The only reason I went to Sturgis was because the Buffalo Chip Camping & Concert Reservations are "use or lose" & I had bought mine a few months before being laid off. I went to Sturgis on a bare bones budget & scared to death. Your concert got me so excited & really made me happy. I appreciate that you care so much about your fans to play longer & be so entertaining & energetic! That & the hours on my bike really rejuvenated me! You really love what you do & it shows! You really love your fans & that shows too! If everyone had your passion . . . this world would be an even better place! You ROCK!

Curious to know if/when you have plans to be back in the Wichita, KS area. I’m sure this is a top 5 question from your fan base, but my question extends beyond a simple interest in seeing you perform again. I took my wife to your concert in Wichita during the winter of 2011. You may remember the date basis the rough landing due to a terrible snow storm or possibly because your band’s arrival was delayed as they made their way up from Oklahoma. I thought your ability to keep the show going despite the lack of the Twister Brown Trucker’s was first rate and once they finally arrived the show really cranked up. Here’s the rub – since I first saw you perform in Wichita in the early 2000’s I’ve been talking up your show to anyone who’ll listen, wife included. I thought your musical talents, the show and your rapport with the audience were all the best I’ve seen. When I learned that you’d be back in Wichita in 2011 we must have been among the first to buy tickets. The show did not disappoint, however it probably wasn’t the traditional Kid Rock show that I’d talked up for the better part of a decade…no fault of yours, the weather and the associated delays were completely to blame. For the last year I’ve been watching your tour dates in hopes of getting my wife to another concert for the Kid Rock experience but haven’t seen anything as of yet. At 37 years old we’re sure to have many more chances to see you live, but anxious to know when our next opportunity might be. Keep up the good work and hope to see you live sometime soon.

We FINALLY got to make it to
We FINALLY got to make it to a Kid Rock concert in Thackerville, Ok on March 3rd...and it was BEYOND amazing!! The man NEVER slowed down...never gave my old ass a break from dancing because I couldn't sit down during such an awesome sow! I haven't danced in 20 years!!! I had taken my son for his 12th birthday, and his first concert..and it said "no cameras" and we respected that rule-when we got there, we saw several people WITH cameras and awesome camera phones to take good pics with-I had asked the couple next to me if they could send us a decent pic-ESPECIALLY one with Kid on top of the piano during Bron free with the flag behind him-that was a GORGEOUS sight!! Obviously, they never emailed me anything, which the guy had told me that he was too drunk to remember my email lol. We bought 4 shirts...would have gotten a poster if we could have afford it but the very week of this concert, my husband had gotten laid off from his job. he worked at the Sara Lee plant for 16 years and they shut down..so he moved to the Campbell Soup plant..low man on the totem pole is always first in the lay-offs so here we sit-jobless, with no income in a small Texas town with nothing to offer. the concert was DEFINITELY a breath of fresh air for both me and my son-it was OUTRAGEOUS!! I caught him dancing a couple of times, he got embarrassed and I had to tell him "NEVER get embarrassed while having a good time, especially feeling the music and dancing!!!" THANK YOU-for reminding me how good it feels to dance, how amazing it is to hear some awesome, loud music and act a fool!! THANK YOU-for my son's first concert, he will never forget it, I'm sure. we DID manage to get a picture of Kid Rock out on the casino's main sign and although we looked for the bus to take a picture with it-we didn't have any luck!! I realized there is SO much more to a concert than just having a good time-it's a walk down memory lane and remembering what it means to DANCE!!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU and ALL that you do!

I came here to comment the other night about the Yelawolf and Kid Rock performance that I saw on You Tube from their recent appearance on the Letterman show. And, read what was then the two prior comments, which are now the two comments that are the twelth and thirteenth back. They were submitted by AMD & LONGHOLL09. Their two comments combined side-tracked my mind to a much more important issue that I wish to reinforce. (I wasn't a registered member here then as I am now, so it erased them. And , I was too tired to retype them the other night.) so here goes... "I once went to see a fight, and a hockey game broke out." Bullying is a serious problem in our world today, as well as it has been documented throughout history. By the way, hockey fans are every bit as violent as hockey players. I know first hand. I was victimized by both. It was a misunderstanding that got blown to epic proportions. I was in the midst of torturous acts, when the Lord said to me, "Get his number." I watched as #16 turned in his hockey jersey. At the time, I thought that it could be #16 or #91. Everything's about the yin and yang. It was hard to tell as the jersey was kind of folded up as he handed it over. I was later informed that there is no number as high as 91 on hockey jerseys, so therefore it must be #16. As much as the player loved the game and as hard as he must have worked to make the team, being a part of their mob crimes was not condusive to his morality. Good souls exist. I had no recollection of this until undergoing hypnosis. Now, pieces and fragments of the truth are coming back to me. I am suffering post-tramatic stress because of all this. Bullying happens too often to the young. Consequentually, victims often commit suicide. Our life experiences shape who we become. I'm still surviving it. Rap music isn't as dark as it used to be. Testimony to progress. Again, thanks for the cross Kid.It came at a time when I needed it the most. You are a good man of your good word. XO
