OMG, I am going to date myself. I remember all of the original MTV VJs. One time that I remember is the night of the "Thriller" debute. We were at a huge party, drinking and what not, and the entire party stopped and crowded around the TV to watch the video. Video had such power back then.! That Dire Straits video was a riot. Things are just funnier when you are drinking and smoking! AHHHH.............the 80s!!

I was in the seventh grade when I first saw MTV and thought Music Videos were cool but the game rooms and 12th st were cooler.

I lived out in the country, so no cable...could only watch it at my friend's house who lived in the city.
Now there's more reality shows than music videos being played fo sho!

I grew up watching it when i would go to a friends house. We had no cable. They had a satellite. I remember Adam Curry, Randy, all the originals. WHEN MTV actually played music!
