My vote wasn't, I already knew who I would vote for. No I am not a lockstep Republican, I do my research and see which candidate will best fit my beliefs, and yes I even research judges, and the board of trustees for my alma mater. And yes I also vote Democratic. I'm a moderate. I truly believe the 99% aren't the rich and the 1% everyone else, I think the 99% are moderates and the 1% is the far left and far right.
I find all the 'fans' coming on here and vowing to never buy his music, or merchandise or attend concerts because of his political affiliation are the actual sheeps. Guarantee they will be gone in a few days, until he expresses another non politically correct viewpoint.

Im notr a romney supporter by any means (Gary Johnson is my guy) but Romney didnt get rich by being stupid. Neither did Kid rock. Loans ands Handouts dont fix problems. They may delay the inevitable.. People , You really have to wake up and pay attention. Our country has gone down the toilet because of this mentality... Its time to let the chips fall where they may and rebuild on ingenuity and hard work. STOP WHINING AND MAKE IT HAPPEN.
I don't care who he votes for, but in this case when he is such the label of Build up Michigan and Detroit and Romney literally said: "let detroit go bankrupt" how can you make those two things mesh? It's like saying - don't do drugs - and making Charlie Sheen the spokesperson...really? Romney is anti support detroit and Kid is the opposite...makes zero sense A celebrity would never influence my vote. But this may change my views when I hear Kid raving about Michigan...how much can you love a place if you are supporting a guy who supported the collapse of Detroit?
One more thing... The news about him helping DSO is way more interesting to me!

No It doesnt influence my vote at all. But I will say that while attending a Springsteen concert, I was subject to his political comments. Which he can certainly make, But NOT on my dime and time. So I prolly wont be paying to hear his opinion on politics again.. Id rather just hear his music... I have never heard Bob spout off at a show about his personal poliutics...

Amen to all of you! I have been reading these posts all day long, telling myself to not get sucked into this hostile bullshit...Who cares who Kid votes for? Geez...I, too, consider myself a moderate, I would vote for whoever I felt would be the best one to get this country back on track. Even though I will most likely vote for Obama, I still love Kid, his music, and his true fans...
Oh and to answer your question - No, Kid's vote doesn't influence me at all - and I'm sure that's how he would want it anyway!
