I saw this on the news the other day. I paused the TV, so I could take a picture of it and post it here:
"Two percent of clothing bought in the United States is made here. In 1997, 41% of clothing purchased in the United States was made here."
Source: American Apperal and Footwear Association.
(The news story was on CBS and about the "life is good" t-shirt/product line. How they started, what their mission is, etc...)

FYI, the MID company supports Kid Rock's scholarship fund at Wayne State University in Detroit. He does not own the company to make a profit, but to benefit the scholarship. He bought the company to save jobs in Michigan and keep it from going bankrupt. And, my Kid Rock Detroit Tigers 40 jersey has a tag that says "Made in the USA" on it. Even if the tag wasn't there, I would still enjoy wearing the shirt, promoting the Tigers, Detroit, Kid Rock and supporting Wayne State.

No, shit! Well said, KRA!
oh for christ sake.. 90 % of the tshirts available in this country for reasonable prices that we can afford are imported. But beyond that the screen printing is most definitely done in the usa. Now on to the more important issue... When a tshirt says something on it, it does not refer to the shirt itself, but the wearer. So if my shirt says MADE IN COLORADO........ It doesnt mean my shirt was made in colorado... It means I WAS>>>> ugh... People, Seriously... How can you not get this...
WHAT THE HELL!
