On Christmas day, it seems I blew the engine on my car. I will be unloading my Kid Rock collectibles, Paradime Collectibles, and TBT Collectibles. My Car is going to cost me 3 Grand to repair, and I need all the funds I can to make sure I have a vehicle. So, in the upcoming days, be ready to bid, donate, and help a cause much greater then u may think. I am also organizing a benefit show...
Happy Trails
Addiction is so sad. Bless her mother and daughter.
I would like to say i am surprised by this but i am not. Seems so many stars/celebs get caught up in drugs and alcohol and it usually ends in their demise. At times they are fed it, at times they seek it out themselves....Even us regular folks can get caught up in all that just as easily. I lost some ppl dear to my heart to alcohol and drugs....I have rode the line myself with them at times...I have no easy answers about them...I try to stay away from them for the most part and not let them play much of a role in my life...
Addiction to me is part devil and part angel...in the beginning it is sweet like an angel. It makes you feel good or gives that desired effect...but in the end it is the devil because it kills you and takes all the good from your life that you had/have. By all the good i mean: your health, your family, your freedom (whether that be in jail or just the freedom to wake up each day without that bag of bricks known as addiction gnawing at you and eating away at your core), your livelihood, and just about everything good in your life.
I read some of what Whitney's life had been like as of late. Another stint in rehab etc. I wish for her sake it had helped her. I hope her family gets through this. Her daughter i hope gets the help she needs to get through.
I hope Whitney is at peace now...
I cried when Hudson sang at the Grammy's...I thought it was me, but after talking to girlfriends, they all cried, too.
Her success carried her beyond music to movies, where she became a rare black actress with box office appeal, starring in such hits as "The Bodyguard" and "Waiting to Exhale." Bishop T.D. Jakes, a Texas minister and producer on Houston's final film project, a re-make of the 1970s release "Sparkle," said he saw no signs she was having any substance issues. He said Houston was a complete professional and moved the cast and crew to tears two months ago when she sang the gospel hymn "Her Eyes on the Sparrow" for a scene shot in Detroit......
Thats an excerpt out of an artical of the Associated Press (AP) about Whitney Houston I wanted to be sure and share.
I just watched Jennifer Hudson's touching tribute to Whitney at the Grammy awards. It was beautiful and fitting. Such a sad story all around, though. I can never understand how such gifted people fall prey to squandering their God-given gift.
damn...damn...damn
life's true last surprise..death
the only thing that is enevitable, death and taxes ,however, you can cheat taxes!
sad for her daughter , and family. addiction may not take you out when your at your highest
I am on the back side of 30 now and have seen this more than i would like to speak of
i was just sitting here watching this program about johnny cash, who admitted of additctions
and carl perkins was saying that stars are sometimes loved to death elvis almost john he says
when you are never told no and always told your loved and reminded only of perfections within
its so easy to get caught up in the superman complex of life,
i wanted to give my son a hug and he runs from me so i put it off ,
im not gonna call momma today ill give her a call in the morning, or he has the best doctors in the world and access to the upmost in healthcare.. these are the things I see and it puzzles me seems stars would have that advantage next to the common folk and constantly check on that
he would know if he were about to cash out... this is another reminder of the one thing we have no control over ... who knows, maybe she checked herself out , even then some survive that.
it is such a mystery to me , why the lord keeps some til they are 90 but then some go so young when both living the high life on a sunday morning coming down...Im wishing lord that i was stoned...
when the good lord needs you home, its time ...
no matter the fame , fortune in life, timing ,or what we have yet to do.
this is another example of a life gone too soon. and she touched so many with her beautiful song.
now heaven has another angel to sing... she will be missed
Kenny Wayne posted on facebook That he was on a flt withher last week and she played with his kids.. So Sad...
Apparently, the poor thing downed in the tub. No one admits to finding anything but prescription drugs.
I am sad, but, not surprised.
It's so easy to overmedicate yourself, especially if you mix alcohol with opiate pain meds. You want to sleep and you can't, so you take 2 more and 2 more.
She'a abused her health for decades, even as a teenager. Raised in Newark, tough environment.
Bob?
Sure hope you are paying attention.
...its gonna be pills or blow...or both... I have always kinda felt Bobby Brown ruined her life... pretty sure he introduced her to drugs. I feel bad for their daughter..I think Whitney has been messed up for a decade or so... such a waste :(
RIP
The saddest thing is that the gossip sites like Radar Online and TMZ had a great go at how nasty she looked (eh, she looked ok to me) the day before. Wonder if she read that crap, then took a little too much to forget about it......
oh nooo
man, could she sing...it was such a gift...
WOW.. I just was just flipping the TV & saw it on CNN.... OMG.. no details except they found her in a hotel room in LA.
