JB: there was a four feet walkway for bar staff between the stage and us so no stiff neck. It was perfect.
Nice RSMS :) Did you have a stiff neck from looking up at Kid? LOL You weren't kidding when you said you were front and center. The closest I've ever been is about five people diagonal from end of catwalk. Was there room for dancing or were you packed in like sardines? I'm so wanting him to do a Detroit show. Are you reading this Kid? Can't wait to see you at Woodshop and hear all about it :)

sounds like we might of just missed each other..I was in the vip area right beneath Kid and his party..if i was to stand on the couch bench,(which one of the ladies I was with did) and hold the glass wall, I could of talked to them all.. Luckily I did not get that drunk..
tammyray, we were next to the dance floor, below and kiddie corner where Kid and his group were partying. Where were you? We only stayed about an hour. Had an early flight home that as you know, didn't go so well-LOL. Wayne County wanted to save money by not salting runways.
damn it should of been at the bar with you Paige, I pretty much stayed in that same spot you saw me in dancing the night away with the 2 blondes Ted and I met leaving Mandalay Bay heading over to Tao, we shared a cab and never separated until we shared a cab again back to the hotel at I think it was about 4am or so..
rsms, where the hell were you and your hubby at, would of loved to have a dance with you..

I saw Kracker at Tao Tammy. I was hanging at the bar right beneath the stars of his VIP section. Nice meeting everyone too.
Oh My. How did I get bruises there? Kid was in rare form I would say. I don't remember 41 but I couldn't keep up at 47. VIP table at House of Blues Saturday Night was the nutz. Kid Rock and TBTB did play more old school it seemed and the crowd loved it. Friday night I had a great place at the bar. Couldn't see a bit of Rock through the pillar but didn't seem to mind as we where dancin and partying like crazy. Did step out for smoke break one night, was shooting the breeze with some dude when all these girls kept coming up callin him uncle cracker. Straight up average Joe super cool. After the show both nights we found some bar at MB with live music. Saturday Night we got up on stage shaking our asses like stars. Security pulled us off for a minute but we got back up before headin to Venetian. Did get a Skybox at Tao. I guess Kid was there but never heard his voice. Wendy and I had the time of our life. My girl never looked so good as she did dancin the night away. 24 years of marriage and can still hang. Just what a Rock N Roll week was supposed to be. With all the ups and downs that a crazy life brings. Was super lucky to win and be able to blow our money twice. LOL. Got to Rhino one night. If you where there and heard Kid kickin out from the DJ both that was the night. Don't remember everything but wow a great time. Back to Kid Rock and the TBT Band. How did they do it? Hat's off for sure!!! WOW Damn ........ohhhhhh yea!!!!! Party!!!!
Ted took some video I think( I didn't see him once during the whole damn concert, couldn't find his ass after the concert, then when i did finally find him, he was right outside the venue, shootin' the shit with Freddie, aka Paradime) I'll have him check it and see what we can come up with..I don't know the song myself either.. I am so not good at writing reviews or giving good detail, but to me Kid seemed very happy at this show, the one thing I noticed and that I absolutely loved is he seemed to smile a lot..not that they had exact designated rows, but if I had to say I guess I was about 5th row for a while, then made my way to about the 3rd row..sound was great, and he played more old school Kid Rock, but I never care what songs he sings anyway, because I like them all...Had a great time meeting everyone, and danced danced danced at Tao, (didn't see much of Ted at Tao either they wouldn't let him in vip,at first, took him a while, so I had to start my own damn party, I knew he'd find a way some how at some point in the night, and I was damned if I was leaving vip) did anyone else hear Uncle Kracker was there? I was right under Bobby's vip area, and didn't see him at all, damn it, got a few good straight on looks at Bobby though, yep ladies he looked GOOD, damn GOOD....oh and Ted's my husband, if you didn't figure that one out all ready..(lol) well for all those that I met Thank You for making this a great time, nothing like having good people around you.

I think he played a new song on saturday night. I recorded it--didn't get the whole thing but I gotta watch it again to figure out what song it was.

I imagine you were probably like on a mission, that's a problem with GA standing room...you don't dare go the bathroom or get a drink or you lose your spot! I was wondering about the sound at a small venue, that's good & I like the more bluesy music, cool. Oh that was thoughtful of you to give Kid a B-day gift & card : )
Margo, I didn't even get a chance to get a shirt because I didn't want to lose my spot. I did send some Sanders chocolates with a bday card to Kid through the security guard. The card was a musical card that played Kiss, "I wanna rock and roll all night, and party everyday!"
@Margo-I really didn't see much of the venue since I headed to get my spot as soon as the door's opened. The HOB had standing only on the main floor, some seats by the bar and then seating all around the top perimeter. Kid stood for the most part, in the middle of the stage, by the prompters and ventured to the side a couple of times. He didn't do a wardrobe change but changed his hat to go with song, (cowboy hat for Cowboy, MID cap backwards for scratching, black hat for blues...). He did a medley of some of his songs, added the Queen and Rush. He did a bit of Cat Scratch Fever. It was a shortened version of his usual concert but more blues to it. He compressed a lot in short time. Great show. Sound was perfect. HOB has a rosetta window at the top-church like. Have to say the crowd was pretty well behaved where I was. Nice people all around me.

WYCD radio interviewed me this morning about the plane skidding. I made sure to plug Kid by saying we went down to see him at the House of Blues and the show was AMAZING as usual. Gotta support the KID!
Glad you made it home safe Rsms...Wow, scary ending to what sounded like a great time though, thanks for the report back = ) Was House of Blues a small venue? If so, what are your thoughts on a small club show compared to the big shows you've seen KR at? I'm hoping he plays a small club in MI this year, I wanna see him at least once at a small club. Hope Ktweedy made it home safely too. @ MsB Ha! I was wondering if anyone would catch that ;D
