A long time ago----Someone posted that this forum was just like every other Celebrity/Band message boards-----i disagreed then---and still have to totally disagree~at first i thought it was Michigan Soul---because that's where i am from----and there is Truly nothing like ~Detroit Soul-------But----most of the people that have touched me the most over the years----are from all over America and Canada-----SO----it's a Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker thing :-) i am Blessed to be a part of this community :-)
i have found TRUE Friends in here---the kind of Friend that i want to be to others---an UNCONDITIONAL Friend :-)
i have found God working in His mysterious ways in here----We may all have some kind of vice----whether it be booze---food---swearing--kinkiness, etc. (in my case----all of those---lol :-) But i have watched God work thru many of the Souls who post on here. Helping Each Other---Helping Animals (that is HUGE in my book :-)
i have even watched Kid and Tbt change and grow over the years------if You really sit down and think about it---They ARE the voice for us fans----and the People They run across---become fans----how many times has that been posted?
i have Laughed---Cried---Bitched---Whined---been Shit-faced---found Peace--and been Straight-Up Amazed in here. I Love You Guys :-)

One of my MAJOR faults----is I tend to take what people close to me say and myself in general----WAY too seriously sometimes----I can remember my Mom telling me as a little kid to "lighten up---not everything is a line between sides----there is always a middle ground"-----

I know---i can be an incredible smart-ass sometimes----and can dish it back out pretty damn good---

Tammy Ray & Msbehavin, those are both very touching stories. Tammy I know you have posted a lot on this website and you are always such a positive voice and such a wonderful fan. As well as many others that check this website daily and enjoy following the extraordinary musician, Kid Rock, Robert Ritchie, Son of Detroit, American BadAss. = )
I don't know what it is about this site and being able to interact with all the other Kid Rock fans that makes me very incredibly happy. I love to be able to talk with other fans and share funny stories, and good times we've all had over the years being a fan of kid. One thing that I am looking forward to is being on the Cruise this April and finally be able to meet some of the individuals I've talked with on here.

rsms, my story is a bit simular--mom, wife, part time worker, etc.. with something missing in my life...long long long ass story short, was flippin' through the tv channels on another (then,not sure why) unhappy sleepless night when Kid and TBT's "forever" video caught my eyes and ears, I was amazed, and instantly hooked in by this unknown talent..2nd part of my long long long ass story short, Christmas time comes rolling around and my husband not knowing who Kid Rock was at the time ends up purchasing (the unedited) version of "Devil w/o a Cause" cd as a stocking stuffer for our 9 year old son..I vegly (sp) heard it playing from my sons room, the voice seemed familiar but couldn't figure out why...When my children returned to school after winter break, I went in my sons room and listened to the entire cd, 4 things
1) was PISSED OFF at my husband for buying my 9 year old son a cd with such foul and sexual language
2) I frickin' loved it and the cd right then and there became mine
3) Became a Dedicated Lifelong Kid Rock and TBT Fan
4) I Found what I was Missing
bss-no country?? I 100% disagree, I love Kids Country Roots Side--"Hillbilly Stomp" come on man, you can't help but smile, sing and dance along to that song, and that's his Silly Country Roots Side..listen to his "country songs" a few more times, you might just change your own mind...
Maybe the Ship should have a breathalizer before entering the elevaters, or at least supply some damn beer buckets ..(lol)

Honestly, think Bob seems like he had made many powerful and real improvements over the last so often......musically, professionally, here with the fans (better service), and sticking to one woman.
Setting an example as someone who builds give back methods and makes the time doesn't hurt either. Sorry he missed out on the Grammy nod, though. Deserved it.

That's it - I'm staying off the elevators...I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, but looking back - it must make you laugh.
Actually we only rode them a few times last year. We stayed on the lido deck (same this year) so I think just getting on/off the boat and the main show were the only time we used them. They seemed to take forever too....so we just used the stairs.

LOL@Bart.. the drunken hugs bit reminded me of a dude on the first cruise who was in an elevator with us and another 20 'feeling good' fans... next thing ya know we start hearing the God awful sound of dry heaving.. and then hearing liquid splattering on the elevator floor... should of seen all 20 'not so sick' KR fans hanging onto each other on the other side of the elevator..lmao
Speaking of which, as well....lol, did anyone catch Chelsea last nite....the fan skit. Go and google it, with David Grol. Too much of that stuff in here, all fan sites. There's room for more conversation about the history and future of the band, Hall of Fame is coming up.

I agree - I think those that take Kid's message to heart and really understand what he is trying to say - would agree - he has changed many lives with his music, lyrics, and spirit.
If anyone has met any member of TBT - they would agree with that too. Kid has surrounded himself with a great group of people. I have personally met and talked to Aaron, Jessica, Stephanie, and Larry. All of them very nice and down-to-earth.
Almost every KR concert we have been to, we have met or bonded with another fan. Sometimes friends from the message board, sometimes next to us in the parking lot for tailgating, some sitting next to us at the show, some at the hotel, and some on the boat. Some we have kept in contact with and some we just enjoyed the concert experience with. Always a great time.
Somehow I think there will be lots of drunken hugs and "Whooo" all over this boat in a couple of months.

Whenever i hear about Clarkston----i think about Bob DeVore---He was the Chief of Police there many years ago---i used to do His and His whole Family's hair back in the day---when He worked in Redford---and so did i---at a Family Hair Shop on 5 mile------anyways one of Bob's stories that i Love the most---was when He was a teenager---He, and a Friend of His worked at a Music store----they were both Musicians----anyways---this Friend said---"Hey Man---I am going to start this band----want to be in it with me?" And Bob D. told me that He just said----"Nah----I'm going to go to the Police Academy---"
That Friend was Bob Seger----and Bob D. was like, "What the HELL was I thinking?!" ~Lol

I just came back from a funeral viewing and met people from Clarkston who said the nicest things about Kid. They just glowed when they talked about how he helped to fund a water spray park as a memorial to a young girl from the area who passed. They b*tched about not being able to eat at the Woodshop now that it is famous from being on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives- LOL. They truly respect Kid. Duh... I knew he had a heart of gold already, as do many of his fans.
