so I hear a lot of people are on this coconut water, coconut milk, coconut oil health craze, so I went and picked up some Malibu Coconut Rum, does that count?????
Where Kid Rock has taken his music to, sometimes I think whats next or like a lot of fans do "wish he would do this, or how cool it would be if...". Just Curious to see what others think...

let's see what the future brings. ...thats what I think too
It would be cool if KID would BEAT THE SHIT out of every other artist that puts out music that sucked!!!!!!!! Now i know the line would be long as hell, but i'm sure he'd get the job done. And after that it would also be cool if we could sit around and have a few beers!!!!
Yes, interesting idea, Blue--what broke him? I don't think anything..if it ain't broke..lol
I do not know what is influencing him right now, so hard to answer.
Personally, I love the mixes of rock and rap in 'Somebody's Got To Feel This'--it's the best of a lot of things I love about music. But I also cut my teeth on Motown Soul, so maybe some riffs that express that? I also love the idea of KR and an acoustic guitar. Heck, let's see what the future brings.
Hmmm, interesting thought Blue.
What broke him? He and the band should hold up for a week, and come up with new stuff that pays tribute to what put them on the map in the first place.
Party music. Tongue in cheek parody. Stand on your chair in the venue stuff.
Leave the solos and acoustic for later. Make the critics, haters and non-contents humm the chorusing in their head while they shower.
I would like to see a celebration of Detroit rock.
An all day concert/festival with everyone there,
Kid, UK, seger, nugent, Grand Funk.
As well as being a huge Kid Rock fan,
I am also a big Who fan and I would love
to hear him do Long Live Rock.
Get Back!
Me
LOVE Jackson Mississippi.. hope to hear that on a set list some time again soon : )
Speaking of Jackson Mississippi... I'd love to hear more KRAUSE on the new album.. because well... he rules!! ; )
A Detroit show, just kidding...no I'm not!! I like JB's idea of just Kid & his guitar, that would be cool...or just continue the scaled down club shows for awhile. I liked the Storytellers version of So Hott, I'd like to hear a few bluesy songs on the next CD.
That's hard to say'cause what I like about Kid is his versatility. I love the southern rock, hip hop, soul, but right now I'm diggin' Jackson Mississippi so... whatever the man puts out, I'll listen to.
He said at the Comerica concert that his Mom asked why he can't just sit with his guitar and sing. I would like that. Unlike a lot of music acts, Kid can actually sing and I love that raspy(soulful) voice of his.
It would be AWESOME if he'd come to SPAC Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga, NY which is about an hour north of Albany. Beautiful arena set up much like Bethel Woods but better and closer! That's what I'd like to see him do. Just once and I'd be happy:)
What would I like to SEE Kid Rock do -- can't post that here ; }~ but, I'd like to hear an entire Blues album from him.
"I was a sailor.... I was born upon the tide...And with the sea I did abide" I say the fourth one - they just bring on Kris ; )
idk man.. I really been diggin' his blues version of So Hott with 'girl in bar story' this past tour.. kinda reminded me some George Thorogood stuff... love to hear some more blues, funk, and soul.
Now I gotta go listen to 'Paid' ; )
i think if They covered Confederate Railroad's song "When You Leave That Way (You Can Never Go Back) that would sound AWESOME :-)
For me I would love to see Kid throwback and maybe do a release of the Classic "Highwayman" album. I could see Kid, Zac Brown, Jamey Johnson oh I dont know who else(long list) think if they could cover an album like that maybe even add some original music together would be really cool. Then I think doing something like that with maybe a 12 show tour or something where each city they were able to get a Country Music icon like Willie or Kris or Hank to come out for a show... Not sure who would be who in something like "The Last Cowboy Song" but I know it would be probably be the best cover I'd hear any of them do ever...
