Where I grew up, there were no rich people. No bankers, no rightwing titans ranting the poor were lazy and the government was taking all their hard-earned money. Some dads worked for the electric company, others sold insurance or held blue-collar jobs.

i didn't think my heart could handle another over-time Michigan team game------it did---i cried when the Wolverines won----a repeat of when i balled when Michigan State won in the 3rd over-time-----GOD BLESS MICHIGAN :-)
Funny story tho---i live just North of Atlanta, Ga---so the neighbors are huge UGA fans----She and i were both out on back respective porches smoking---when the MSU vs. UGA went into the first overtime---lol

KRLO: heading to Michigan State Friday to see my niece. She's a gymnast for the Wash. Huskies and they are competing against State. I haven't seen her in two years. Will enjoy seeing the sights of E. Lansing. I have only been back one time in the past 26 years.

WAY TO GO SPARTANS! What a game. I ended up listening to the overtimes on the radio. My daughter and friend performed a 40 minute show at my parents assisted living facility this evening. They sang beautifully. I'm a proud mama.
Betcha all the mom's of the Spartan players are proud as well. GO GREEN! Congrats KRLO, Val, and of course Kid, since we all know he's a Spartan fan.

No kidding Val, I love being a Spartan, that's why my diet is Bad Ass Beer and Tums. Eh, not really. On to Basketball, I was a soph in 79 when we won the NCAA championship against Bird. EL erupted. We partied for hours, even the cops were partying. Went down later that night to Capitol City airport and greeted the team, they were so appreciative of us, really surprised us, they stuck around, Jud Heathcote was so cool, Magic, was so excited and happy. Great memory.
Spot on about rooting for UM, I want a good showing for the B1G. Good for recruiting. Our entire family are Spartans so we just acted the fools tonight. SO SO happy. GO GREEN GO WHITE

I remember some basketball games that took me over the edge, also. My daughter looked at me today and said "do I know you?" because once again I was screaming at the TV.

SO So happy for my University, we needed a win in a bowl especially against an SEC team. I will root for Michigan tomorrow, even though I wont next fall. I'll tell ya one thing, MSU has played some of the most nail biting games this year, First Wisconsin game, w/ the hail mary, second game against Wisky when we lost the B1G, and now this one against Georgia, Thanks for rooting for the green, I will root for the Blue.
I'm not a Spartan fan (we're Wolverines) but WOW, what a game!!!
