MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Merry Christmas everybody !!

RSMS it is more to be there for my niece, but i guess try to just be silent in some ways and let him be there and have the space and whatever he needs so to speak. I don't know how to describe it. I mean i see him @ family functions. But honestly like most ppl my life is busy and i don't see them as much as i should.

He was there tonight. You can see the anger in his face. He is very upset @ this time. I wouldn't expect anything different though. I talked to my niece and just tried to convey it is gonna take time, patience and just working through it. And she should watch him very close. If something seems wrong tell someone about it. And not just another teenager. Her mom works in education and with kids and help can be found. I told her he might or more then likely will need help dealing with this. She says he keeps his feelings in a lot. Which is par for the course of most young men.

ANYWAY overall it was a great Christmas with the family other then that shadow cast over us a bit. Had great food and drink, a fun board game, some good tv shows, and just spending time together. Which honestly i don't do enough of. I guess i am like a lot of ppl in that we always think there will be plenty of time. Well maybe i should be more of the thinking that there is no better time then right now....

HOPE all of the rest of you guys had a Merry Christmas Eve and have a Merry Christmas tomorrow. May you be safe, have good times, and get what you most wish for!

Ajay, that's why we are all here-to share in good times, and help in bad. I'm so sorry. I am glad you are going to "be" there for that 17 year old. Just listening will help him and letting him know you support him. I don't know why things happen the way they do. Again, I am so sorry.

I have little heaviness in my heart @ this time. Last night my nieces boyfriends dad and his girlfriend were killed in a car wreck. So what was fairly happy times for me are not so happy now. I search my mind of what to say and do if he comes to my brothers Christmas Eve. I usually gouge him as i am little protective of my niece and honestly i don't know if anybody would be good enough for my niece to me. Now i just feel sorrow for him. The girlfriend has 4 children. It all just makes me feel nothing but bad. I just hope this kid is okay, well as okay as can be expected. I just can't imagine losing a parent, even @ my age let alone 17. I honestly feel you are never prepared for that. Even though you know ppl can't live forever and that day will come someday.

I been listening to a lot Nickelback "Here and Now" currently. I guess i find a lot of strength and comfort in Lullaby @ this time and even before this. Yeah i know Kid has a lot great music and i may listen to some of that too. In tough times in life music is a refuge for me and has been for as long as i can think back. Maybe that is why i write lyrics?

I just was hoping for a good Christmas without bad feelings and such this year...

Sorry to bring sadness to the board @ this time guys. I know everybody wants to enjoy this time of year with family and friends.

Just hoping now Santa gets me off the waiting list 4 cruise & on the ship- hope I've been GOOD enough- crossing my fingers!
