HA HA HA Just Because: I will definitely have him wear it the next time we all meet at the Woodshop.
I love it, Argyle sweater! He should wear it to our next Woodshop meet!
Val, where in Me he co? We've been to Cancun. The most beautiful blue water I've ever seen.
lol Lisa-one good flu away from my ideal weight
Last year, I literally DRAGGED my husband to Kids' 40th concert in Detroit. My husband had a fever and chills and wore an ARGYLE sweater to keep warm. We still laugh about it. How many people have worn an ARGYLE sweater to a Kid concert? Whenever he wears it to work, I remember and crack up laughing. I ended up sick about three days later and he couldn't get me out of BED, let alone get me to a concert. I know, I was just terrible, wasn't I?
The only thing I have done today is 60 minutes on the treadmill....Just sitting on the couch in front of a fire and my X-mas tree, watching tv. What a relaxing day! I love to eat good food, but am weak when it comes to cheese and pasta...As we get closer I will cut all of that out completely...I figure I am one good flu away from my ideal weight.haha..
JB, you are doing fine. I am trying to concentrate more on the exercising part right now than the food part..I feel stronger just from the exercise, yet I did find the hidden Halloween candy (still good, mind you), and it met its demise. Oh well.
Honestly, I do hate the deprivation of a 'diet', per se. It toys with you mentally. Luckily, I like a lot of things food-wise, so I'm just giving it my best shot right now. You gals have until the end of April...I have to at least fit into something by Feb.10th for Mexico! UGH
Tammy, you are so in my thoughts & prayers!!!
To everyone have Blessed Holidays :)))
and have fun getting ready :)))))))
Thanks guys, I'm pretty good with eating. Just have two weak spots...pizza and mac n cheese. Once I start, can't stop. I think your right RSMS, after the holidays I will (promise to myself) start an exercise routine. Lisa, it's hard not to feel guilty but I have to be good this week so I can indulge (just a little) on Christmas. It helps to hear from you all. Knew I could count on my KRC pals :)
Take it easy Tammy. There's always time to excercise...This time of year is stressful enough.
Just Because, one bad meal doesn't ruin everything. Hang in there. I am really finding this thread to be very helpful. I do best when I feel like I have to be held accountable and have a goal to reach. I took yesterday off, gonna try to get on the treadmill today for some interval training...Happy Sunday all!
JB; I think it's really hard to start right now because of the holiday stress and all. I betcha that New Years resolution thing will make it easier :)
OK, I need words of encouragement with this. I'm not feeling the whole workout thing and I ate a fricken huge plate of mac n cheese (not Woodshop) last night. So today is a new day and I want to start a routine, just gotta get my fat a$$ off the couch!!!
Tammy! Not the workout we had in mind!
And forget the home-made brunch..Take-out! Reservations! Hamburger helper!
Shirlee, Keep up the good work!
Tammy take care of yourself and feel better.
I just want say thanks, this post helps remined me to get up. Now or Never
feel better Tammyray and maybe "slow your roll" a bit.
well i got my Saturday work-out in but unfortunently it was at the local hospital on their treadmill..I wasn't feeling well about 1:30am (late late friday night, early early Saturday morning) my medecines weren't helping, and the pain wasn't easing up, husband decided enough was enough and about 2:30 or 3:00 am we headed to the er--they ran me through the battery of tests, and about 11:30 am I was getting my exercise on doing a treadmill stress test...all test (ekg, blood work, treadmill, etc)came back ok, and I was back at home and taking a nap by 1:00pm or so..now to get ready for my sons 19th Birthday tomorrow, homemade brunch (which I have to shop for tonight and it's already 7:00pm here, yucky)and night bowling, this will be the first time my 2 year old Grand baby will be getting her bowling on so this should be fun and picture taking worthy-- Thanks for listening everyone...have a great rest of the weekend..
Triple L Blessings
I'm in the process of buying an elliptical machine! I definitely want to shed a few pounds and tone up before the cruise!!!
I only missed one day this week--altho I am going to have some drinks tonight, so I'll have to work those off tomorrow :)
LisaG, girl, you are killing me!
Hey, have any of you had the "Skinnygirl" drinks. Just wondering if they're any good and are they less calories than white wine?
Hoping I can get my work out tonight!
Did a light ab workout today, a little cardio too....sipping on a cold beer...I've been good this week!
right on TammyRay!
tammyray...I have fallen off the treadmill too...that shit hurts...LOL
I fell off the treadmill wagon for 2 days and got drunk last night--damn it!! ok back to business today..
Heres a little weekend poem to get us through:
The weekends here, have no fear
ladies keep our goal in mind (pictures, bobby, the pool)
resist temptations alcohol, carbs, and sweets (I know their cruel)
stay strong and push them away
we only have so many days and then we're GONE
so come on ladies Get your exercise on!!!!!!
Triple L Blessings

My hubby snuck home this morning...Got a great workout...went to lunch, and got passport info submitted. I realize I don't HAVE to have it, but it's probly a good idea.(the passport, that is)..One step closer Baby! Looking forward to tomorrow!
Remember, pain is just weakness leaving the body....
I don't know a cal/burn count but I've heard it's much higher if you're on top!
JB: I wonder how many calories I burned?
Val: Bon Voyage!
Did bike last night, felt easier this time, finally! Bike again today and weights for arms :)
Sexercise, yeah!!!
I know it's difficult starting this right before the holidays, but it can't hurt! (Plus, I have an ulterior motive..I will be hitting the Mexican beach in Feb., so I have to get a head start on all of this!! lol)
Go, VAL, go! I'm giggling, as I know what elliptical 5x a week will feel like initially...it hurts soooooo good.
MSB ~ glad your strapping those Goldilocks up, sounds dangerous!
JUSTB ~ Now were talking. I love any kind of exercise that does not resemble exercise...
Let's not forget the keagle, ready set go!
