    1st in line/Front Center Stage @ 'The Artist Den' Concert

    We saw Kid Rock perform a private invitation only concert in the Elvis Presley Car Museum across the street from Graceland Monday night. OH MY, WHAT A SHOW...!!! It was a taping for the PBS show "The Artist Den" going into its 4th season. Monday nights show will premiere on your local PBS station Feb23rd 2012. You can NOT miss Tam and I, we were front and center stage...!!! What a awesome day we had, we toured Graceland, then had lunch & ran into Marlon,the lead guitarist for Kid Rock & got a picture with him. Robert Plant was walking the grounds we later found out, we didn't see him. At the concert we got 2autographs by KR, we got both guitarist pics, we got both drum stix from KR's drum solo, Tam shook KR's hand, I fist bumped, the band has the flu LOL. We had the best time. Then when we walked out of the concert and there was a 1" of snow on the ground and it was down pouring, the lights were on at Graceland so Tam and I just sat there on a bench for a while and took in the most beautiful moment I have ever had with a human being. I want to THANK Kid Rock for the invite and I want to THANK Tam for the best day of my life... I have been a HUGE Elvis fan since I was 7yrs old, to have been a part of such a once in a lifetime experience, there are no words, GOD IS SO GOOD TO THOSE THAT SERVE HIM AND PERSEVERE THROUGH LIFE'S... : ) Y'all can find me and my 7 Books just by typing 'Donald D. Vess' on google... God Bless all of you and yours, PEACE...

The show was indeed wonderful. We were up front stage left in front of Jason Krause. Incredible energy at such a small venue, nearly magical!

Hey Don. I am so glad you and Tammy had such a great time. Ricky and I were wondering if you both made it home okay. Hope to see you two in January at Seger in Greenville (if you aren't snowed in). Hope yall have a great holiday!!!
