You may be right Val. He is a big Spartan fan. New Years' Eve would be SOOOOO cool. Getting tickets might be a whole other issue, though.
Santa, I really have been good this hear (just a little bad-you know, the "bird" thing and all).
He wouldn't do a show on Christmas Eve., would he? We have a house full of family coming over and it probably would be rude if I left to attend a concert...but I would if I had to. lol
Me too. Maybe they are waiting to see if MSU wins on Saturday, so he doesn't schedule the Detroit shows during the alumni Rose Bowl trip (which right now is scheduled from 12/30 to 1/3 if they win)...LOL :)

I, too, am waiting for the big D announcement!! I'm getting antsy waiting. I am hoping that we will be ringing in the new year with another kick ass Kid Rock show! That would be AMAZING! Even if it isn't New Years Eve, I can't wait to rock out! I've passed up some great shows because I am waiting for the greatest performer I have ever seen! Come on.....I feel like a little kid at Christmas!!

I was just thinking today how we used to take our kids to see all the holiday shows like Nutcracker and Christmas Carol. Now all I want to see this season is Kid Rock! Wow, has life changed. Waiting, patiently :))

I have the attitude that I MIGHT get tkts and I would be very happy. If I don't however, I hope everyone that did get LEGITIMATE tkts have an incredible night of great music. I also hope and pray that all the scalpers that scoop up the tkts first find a red hot poker straight out of the fire stuck up thier respective asses.
Yep it's gonna be super crazy...just hope people don't bitch and moan about the the ticket buying process.

I hope it's more than one night. He has to know that Detroit is crazy for him!!! Maybe he'll do a show in Flint and/or Grand Rapids.
Maybe it will be more than a few venues, or at least 25 nights at one venue. Pretty sure Kid would have no problem with that. Went to the Fillmore for Angels and Airwaves supervising a slew of 15 year olds. We stood in line forever and finally got in, all the kids went to the stage, I found a very comfy table right by the bar but still had a great seat. Hubby went to the casino while I went to the concert w/ the kids, I definitely had a better time.
