Kid Rock ignored the invitation to join Vitadate.info, a chronological social network with around 60 million users.

Vitadate clams to be something more than traditional social networks offer as we know them today. A confirmation to this is the fact that it features its own website (domain name) for every day, including past and far away future, and users can add tons of content related to a particular day.

Anyways, Kid Rock said that there're currently too many social networks and young people are spending too much time on them which totally destroys normal communication.

I currently have 5 teenagers (which I would not recommend to anyone that wants to keep his/her sanity!) If the entire internet social network crashed in one day I would be a happy camper. A disgruntled teen can destroy friendships, create shame, and ruin reputations in 30 seconds flat. We banned facebook from all the home computers but they can access it at friends' houses, on phones and even at school so we have no method of stopping them. Teens don't have the frontal lobe executive function yet to grasp that once they press enter, there's no taking back what they typed! When I was a teen, you could call your girlfriend and vent and that was hopefully the end of it. Now they vent online or text and it spreads like wildfire. Oh, for the good ol' days. :-) On this subject, I absolutely 100% agree with Kid Rock.

I think we all are in the midst of way too much technology. Bob is right in a sense though. I mean had i had the internet back in my growing up days i honestly don't think i would have ever did drugs. Bob might say stay off that internet in that case...LOL

I say the world is @ your fingertips, make the most of it. So much can be obtained through it. But there are hazards as with anything...so look out for the bad in it too...
