I really do not care where the shirts tee shirts or material are made. The design is screen printed in Clarkston MI. USA. They employ a manager and 7 other full time employees.

Stanzler the former owner could not make a go of his business so Bob Ritchie bought the name and design. Stanzler is the one who has sour grapes. He is now wishing he had that label back as he is up and running with a new company. I am sure this crap was started by him or one of his associates.

Bob moved the company to make it profitable near his own hometown. It is called logistics. He did not move the business to China or anywhere out of the USA. Will this stop us from going to concerts or the cruise. Hell no, and if it does you are personally depriving yourself from down to earth fun. How many employees do you think it takes to pull all that together? American economy.

Who cares that Bob does not live in Detroit. 99.9% of us do not live there. We support Detroit by attending functions and contributing to the city's economy.

Bob does a lot for the state of Michigan and the Detroit area. I would guess that Stanzler lives in the suburbs also. I do not know this to be fact though.

Hell half of the produce that many of us eat does not come from local farmers. Check the produce stands as you shop. Go figure. Just recently we experienced the orange juice scare.

80% of the oil to run our partially made American cars are from overseas.

America has a larger problem than tee shirts from Made In Detroit and this happened back when Bob Ritchie was truly a little Kid.

Guess everyone should stay out of Wally World, Meijer and Target also. I just ordered Bali Blinds from a US Company but guess what they were shipped from Mexico. We have limited options for Made in the USA.

Buy American when we can for sure, but when not possible I doubt too many of us are going to deprive ourselves of the things we actually need or want. Chillin the most bound. Just my view

It was bad enough to find out about your "made in detroit" line of merchandise being made out of the country, but now to find out that your endorsing Mitt Romney is just another big letdown. My husband has worked for one of the big three for 23 years now, and if Romney had his way he would be out of a job. What about the regular joe who works his ass off in a frickin factory day after day to support his family. Do you even care? Because Mitt Romney sure the fuck dont! I thought you stood up for the hard working people in Detroit. If the big 3 would of dissapeared where would Detroit be now? Im starting to wonder if you even care or if your just giving everyone a line of shit.

I read the article with the press giving you a hard time about the " Made in Detroit " clothing line . I work for a clothing / sportswear company that has recently introduced a new line of merchandise that is 100 % Made in America ! All of the cotton is from the USA as well as all work done manufacturing the shirts . Trish, sounds like you might be a candidate for Bob's Kid Rock Foundation to start you way to getting better. Hit the upper left link for Charity, then choose the Foundation....

Might be just what a few of you need, so that you can get back on your feet.

Would encourage the entire audience take a few moments tonite to review and jot down links of those you know the KR Foundation might subsidize, then take a moment and add a cover letter, then, just send it to those listed as contact folks under the Kid Rock Foundation.

No one ever gets money anywhere or anytime until it it requested and approved.

Some folks, women, in my opinion, especially those with children, are determined to go it alone, but with such legal/financial services there on your doorstep for the asking....NOT to ask is dumb.

I am a little sad to find out that the Made in Detroit shirts are actually made out of the country like so many other things now a days. I love what you stand for and how you speak your mind...but really, WTF?? Maybe that explains why the XL shirts for women will only fit a 16 yr old. I was on the first cruise with you and wanted to ask you that during our Q & A but never got the chance. Even your concert shirts for women aren't sized right. And you carry nothing for "bigger women". I lost alot of weight bout 3 yrs ago, so I can wear what you offer now but before I always had to buy the guys stuff. Big girls want to represent too, Bob!! You really need to have someone look into the sizing situation...just tried on a Made in Detroit yesterday...size XL....bullshit! Put it back on the rack! As I'm sure you already now know, the Chrysler “Halftime in America” ad that ran during the Super Bowl was NOT filmed in Detroit, but in Los Angeles and New Orleans. Any images of Detroit were from stock footage. We think it is an outrage! Apparently ‘imported from Detroit’ actually means imported from New Orleans.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We want to let Chrysler know that they have done the Motor City an injustice by producing our own commercial that IS imported from Detroit. What we need from you is a quick video of you saying the following:

“I am (state your name) from (city, state) and I want to know why!”

As someone who's born and raised in Michigan, have family who have worked for Chrysler, and own to Chrysler vehicles, this deception hits hard at home!
