Love Kid Rock's music!!!! I own a rare 1925 original Weissenborn Style 3 Lap guitar. She is for sale, and wondered if it would fit into Kid Rock's style of music, especially the country sound he does which I just adore. Please give me a guided tour around DETROIT MICHIGAN by none other than the Kid himself and a ride in one of those souped up automobiles you have!! I was born there and know nothing of this hometown of mine. I feel like a fish out of water in Buffalo, NY sometimes and feel like something isn't quite right and I was thinking it might be because I am supposed to be living THERE and not here!! I was in my middle twenties when you released Devil Without a Cause and I remember giving my boss the CD because I really didnt care for your music. The CD was a gift from my boyfriend and when he gave it me he said honey I know you are going to love it. Damn, wouldnt you know he was right; it just took a little song titled Wasting Time. A few years later you released an album titled Cocky and you had me at Say what, say how, say who, fuck what, fuck me, FUCK YOU. I have anticipated the release of every one of your albums for almost 20 years now and each one is better than the last. I have been to 4 shows, 2 @ Pine Knob, 40th B-Day Bash and the Bad Ass Block party in The D. Some of the best nights of my life and I thank you for that. I am not one to be selfish so I had to share my appreciation with others.
First one on my list was my dad. This is a man that does not stray from his comfort zone. A man that grew up in the 60s, went to Vietnam and came home to his family, knowing what he liked and didnt like. I knew the first song I played for him had to be something that would have a beat, then make him think and then he had to be able to relate to what you were saying and that song had to be All Summer Long. After that he couldnt get enough. We have spent many Saturday nights in his garage drinking, singing and dancing (the dancing is all me) to Kid Rock and my daddy always has a smile on his face.
So, I thank you, for sharing your music with us. Age is not a factor, young or wise we love your music and the stories that they tell. I can promise you that we will continue our Saturday nights ROCKIN it out to our Son of Detroit. Because, after all, we have a lot more drinking, singing, and dancing to do!
SHEDOG1: In response to your wanting more KR merch. I agree with you, but have you checked over at madeindetroit.com? HUGE selection of MID, and a few Kid Rock items. I'm extremely happy with the merch. I've ordered from MID. I know alot of the items over there dont say Kid Rock, etc... but its still him in a sense and its supporting him as well. I've gotten the baseball bat, football and jersey and the baseball jersey which are KR items from there... collectable and in cases. Hope you find something... ~ Meghan ~

i feel u can do more merch. with women's and kids apperarel,-i always buy elvis shit,since i was a kid ,he had cool merch.,u need to appease more women,like joggers with u'r name on the ass,shorts with u'r name on the aSS ,windbreakers with u'r pic and log more hoodies,bathing suits for this summer, jewerlery,and kids stuff ,when my kid was little i dressed him in oneis from elvis merch. KID ROCK, this is for you!!
I am writing in regards to my sister, Farah Barber, who is battling colorectal cancer and unfortunately, without a miracle, doesn't have many options left for treatment. Our family has had a rough couple of years. Our mom, is a breast cancer survivor of 7 years, brother a colorectal cancer survivor of 6 years and my other sister, Jolee, who is only 37, is battling breast cancer.
Farah's lifelong dream is to meet Kid Rock!! She is 47 years old, and has four awesome children and a great husband who love her dearly. She is one of seven children, her being the loudest and most fun by far!! She lights up the room and like so many others has lost some of her spark due to this dreadful disease. It just doesn't seem fair. She has remained strong, selfless, beautiful and full of grace throughout her journey, despite the toll it has taken on her body. I would love to see her face light up again!!
We live in the wonderful community of Dallas, Georgia, which has been a tremendous blessing to our family during this heart-wrenching battle. I know you probably have tons of requests like this and are super busy but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't at least try.

01/27 is Judy's birthday and she flew to Las Vegas from Luther, MI just to see your concert.
I know Kid Rock will never see this post but I have been a fan for a very long time and have been in a rough place for awhile. So what better way to lift my spirits than watch kid rock videos on youtube. I greatly enjoy the "Roll On" video especially when I see the Uniroyal tire because I have spent my summers in Detroit (really mostly Dearborn Heights) and I remember one time after my family went out to dinner my grandma put on her lipstick as we were passing that big tire and got out some Tic Tac's. She always ate Tic Tac's and every time I smell them I think of her, she has passed now but I will never forget her. I love your music Kidrock, you have an amazing voice and such a wonderful talent. I'm having some issues with the black, orange and yellow Chillin The Most hoodie that I ordered. I placed this order along with other merchandise on 8-24-2011. I've gotten everything I ordered but this Chillin The Most hoodie... its from Rocks 2nd Cruise. I was wondering if anyone else has ordered this item and if you have or have not gotten it. I check the status of the order daily and within the past couple days noticed that it has been discounted from $50 to $39.95. This item is on back order and I understand that it takes time for the distributors to get things in the works, etc... but its now almost Feb. and I'm wanting my hoodie before the next cruise! You can clearly see it in the photo in the story that was published yesterday in Newsweek/The Daily Beast about a Michigan teen who was placed on sex offender registry and sent to prison for consensual teenage sex. We saw Kid Rock at the Shoreline in San Jose this summer,BEST SHOW EVER!!! I was glad to hear he is coming to Vegas on Jan 27th (my 50th Birthday) We have tickets to the show, but would like to meet him. Whats the chance we could meet, we are planning on landing around 4:00 pm., coming on a private plane so we will use the same terminal. We can change our arrival time or back stage would be great.
