Dark Thirty
There’s a faceless girl
In a nameless City
Ready to take on the world
Oh she’s so damn pretty
Bright eyes and long curls
Never been down and dirty
Aint never seen the things
That happen at dark thirty
The bad bad things that happen
At dark thirty
There’s some kind of people
That change right after dark
Take advantage of a young girl
With a certain kind of spark
Might wind up in the dirt
Down in Central Park
For whatever its worth
Happens at dark thirty
Bad bad things happen
At dark thirty
There’s a faceless kid
In a nameless town
He plans to make it big
He plans to bring it down
Hi Rock, I share your birthday, January 17 and I live in Michigan and run a large Mi-based non profit to improve Michigan. I will be in Vegas this weekend with 17 of my girlfriends to celebrate my 40th. Will you ride in our limo for a while on Friday between 6-8pm? Drinks and dances are on us. I know you will be there too. Pretty Please....Debra Sue
Sorry I'm late, but Happy Birthday Kid Rock!! Wishing
You the Best!
Too funny :)
~Lol----I'm guilty of posting some screwed up ramblings myself----so we're just messing with You---"The One Flower Child"---
Can we please keep the delusional thoughts INSIDE our heads
Thank You on behalf of EVERYONE
@MsBehavin LOL :D
NUMERO UNO------Make a complete sentence----then------make some damn sense--lol
make me brave or make me your wife?
in my dream..first. keith, tomtom, you got all the help, can't find me yet?baby?
haha
just KIDding I am sure...
half ass!!
I have two topics for you. The first is the Ameican flag poster (2011) that was apparently discontinued and now is not available because it was pulled by "Kid Rock Management". I have to ask, please reconsider. I was so very excited to get that poster, had big plans for it, framed and center stage in my staircase. Something very special about that poster, it is/was spectacular. Pretty please?
The other concern I have is Kid Rock is an "American" Bad Ass, but the merchandise screams "made in China" and is poor quality. I don't care how much it costs, if I want it, I'll buy it. The sweatshirt I bought is cheaply made. I have spent thousands on Aerosmith's mechandise. It is pricy but you get what you pay for. The American Bad Ass needs to have American Bad Ass gear, that matches who he is.
I was just wondering where Kid got the fringed shirt he was wearing for the Thanksgiving Football show. Its the nicest one I have seen in a long time. Any plans to come to El Paso TX for a concert?
@ ANK5717. You can get "Racing Father Time" at Meijer stores. It is a short, 4 song CD with "Midwest Fall", porch verson of "Slow My Roll", "Frickin Forty" and one other song (sorry, had a few Bad Ass beers and my memory is failing me!) No, it does not say "Fuckin Forty", but it is still the song and fun as hell to sing along to!
I am trying to make my girl friend listen to your music.what is your opinion?
sometimes, not to buy sweet fight is wisest thing to do,too yet as long as its fun, will give that
Or I will just keep playing "Dark and Grey"/ Or" I Am" Till we both start playing "American bad ass".
and my ass is better than yours. And "picture" is wonderful for that problem is who is who?
"I will do it for you " goes both way.So is "SoHott"
and"Abortion" is out of question, so need to escape to "Purple Sky" " Flying high"
you have everything..and thanks for that" Rock'n Roll" too
I love the song born free. And the song "care",too. if life were to be just for pain, why do you seek love and family? being alone should serve each everything..problem is some see through the lies. and some love to live with lies. its about level of comfort.
If life is all about pain to you, do something else.
I accepted things, the level of lies people feel comfort with.. self centered ego always come from someone who cannot understand the meaning of "born free"
"care" goes beyond.
In my opinion. and you can have anything everything out of your expectation
It really has been "Lonely road of Faith"to me
"Feel like making love" was awesome, yet later Ifound out, it really wasn't your lyrics.but I still love you and love how you sing the song.
I love the Born Free album (yes, I'm older so I say album!!). Anyway, I think this is Kid's best ever. The song "Slow My Roll" hit close to home for me and my daughter. My daughter is 24 and beautiful and has been taken advantage of by loser guys forever. Anyway, all her problems took her to heroin and eventually rehab. She is getting much better now because I have wrapped my arms around her and I am not letting go until she is strong enough to say "no" to anything that isn't good for her. We listen to this song together because it truly describes what happens to addicts and alcoholics. We love it. I also really like the song "Care". It reminds me of how I feel most days......sitting in the middle trying to live and all this bullshit all around me. In the county where I live, almost everyone is addicted to prescription pain killers. The pharmaceutical companies and doctors are getting richer and the working class is falling apart and no one cares. Have you even heard one politician mention how bad drug addiction is right now? I am no angel, but I have always paid my bills and took care of my family. The song really speaks about what is going on in this country now. I have loved Kid Rock's music for a number of years now. I think he is absolutely awesome and would LOVE to meet him one day. I notice that more and more of his songs have some reference to GOD in them and I just love that! Kid, you may party and all that, but I know you have a true and faithful heart. Hey, I will be at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC for Uncle Kracker's concert. Would love to see you as an "surprise guest!!!" We love you Kid Rock!!
