    After performing two shows for our military in California myself and the band headed to Telluride, CO for a skiing vacation. I spent sometime one morning there with Mrs. Brimhall's second grade class. I talked and showed them pictures of my travels overseas to visit and entertain our troops as well as play a few quick songs for them. They sang "jingle bell rock" for me and each wrote a short paragraph of what it means to be "Born Free". Was a very cool and fun experience!! Thanks to everyone in Telluride for your hospitality and if anyone ever has the chance to visit, please do! Telluride is absolutely beautiful, great skiing, very laid back, nice people and LOW KEY!! Bob just wanted to wish you a merry christmass and thank you again for the great music. It has been a rough year for me and my girls. really miss my x wife and she just does not feel the same. whatever though. I have two beautifull girls who are my life now and short of having there mother back at home i would not want things to be any other way. i am really looking forward to the show in Bosier city on the 8th of Febuary. Always admired this and the fact that always at the MOST BUSY TIME OF THE YEAR he does this.... and all year through. He always shows support to our Troops, I believe even at his own cost! God Bless him for that! Talk about sharing the blessings of your success - hoepfully more entertainers will follow! God Bless our Troops this time and year long!

Cool. Would love to read some of what they wrote about being born free !! :-) (To me Born Free means to listen to music whenever I want, to Rock On whenever my heart isn't happy, to still Collide with someone from time to time, even tho' it might mean something will make me stand Frozen In My Tracks Like A Deer In Headlights, and it means to Flyin' High even in Times Like These, when I'm still waiting For The First Time that someone will finally be Flyin' High with me, someone who was Born Free of course ;-))) And once again: Thanks for this spectacular album. May the Grammys be plenty !)

When I was in fourth grade (1973/74), Michael from the show "Good Times" (I think his name is Ralph Carter) came to visit my class in Yonkers, New York. We thought THAT was cool--I can't even imagine Bobby walking in! True Blue Dude-- I would have fallen in love that much earlier in life...

hey kid countin down the days till the peoria show.......u should come out on the illinois river in the summer time with us and slaughter some asian carp on the pontoon boat........i promise u it is a blast.cold drinks hot babes and total bloodbath. my youngest son is going in the army soon .bless ur heart for the things u do to support r troops

HI BOB!!! What a wonderful thing you are doing (as usual) visiting the military bases,entertaining them and then a class of second graders!!!!! Bet they will never forget that day!!!! After checking out the other pictures I will have to put Telluride CO on my "TO DO" list-- My older sister used to live in Denver and it was pretty nice at that elevation!! But, now I must try snow skiing since I am only a water person from TN--love to slalom ski-on the water but I think I would need an instructor with the initials RJR(Get it!!!!!) So I could learn how to snow ski or even go snow boarding. We could have a GREAT snowball fight, make a snowman or even snow angels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To ALL your family Mother, Father, Sisters and Brother and especially Jackie(your household caretaker) and most especially to Junior and YOU!!MERRY CHRISTMAS & A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!! WHAT A GREAT THING u guys did,i've been telling everyone who would listen for years now what a great person you are!!I'M PROUD to say my kids know your music and LOVE YOU-BOTH AS A MUSICIAN AND A GREAT AMERICAN!! only problem is- now they want to know if you'll come visit their school too!!LOL i told them probably not,but since i'll be at your show here mar. 9th and they can't come , mommy will let them skip school that day ,make a sign , and i'll take them down to the arena that afternoon and maybe you'll make their year( mommy's too!) and stop for a quick autograph!!(although i did PROMISE them both in a couple of years i'll MAKE SURE you're their FIRST CONCERT!!!) in our house it's a holiday if you're in concert here,my son likes to tell all his little redneck friends he's already seen you in concert 'cuz i saw you when i was 5 mos. pregnant w/him..lol ...GOD BLESS YOU AND TBT..MERRY X-MAS TO YOU AND YOURS...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK....SEE YOU IN JAX.FLA.

WOW! Way cool to do this with the kids, something they will always remember for sure. The coolest thing is them writing what it means to be BORN FREE. I think too many people who has never been around the world and seen with their own eyes are not truly sure what it means! Way too go Bobble, you and your band just keep amazing me with your act of kindness. GREAT picture. Great to know with fortune and fame someone doesn't for the important things in life. The kids, troops and ones who are down on their luck. God bless you Bobbie and may you and your family have a Merry Christmas as well as a Happy New Year. This gave me a warm feeling inside, Great to be a Kid Rock fan!
