"Anywhere's Better" is the latest single from Motown-meets-rock-meets-country artist Ty Stone, and in short order, the clip's been met with a warm reception from the viewers of CMT.com.
Although Stone doesn't bill himself as a country artist per se, his soulful, Southern sound has struck a chord that resonates with many of the genre's contemporary fans, and Michigan native Stone couldn't be more pleased.
The video, which features CMT's Sweet Home Alabama star Ashley Ann Vickers, along with cameo appearances by Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker, managed to rack up some 10,000 views in just a few hours of its online-CMT debut and rocketed to the Top 5 most-viewed on the homepage.
This "Anywhere's Better" track also be featured on Stone’s forthcoming album American Style, which was executive produced by Kid Rock. The disc is slated for release this spring.(Kid Rock signed Stone to his Top Dog Records label back in 2005.)
