Whats the big deal. We all make mistakes. Last time i checked Kid Rock was a human just like the rest of us, the only difference is that he has a special talent and knows how to use it. If i were to light up in a non-smoking place it sure wouldn't make the papers. Time to move on and let the poor guy try to live his life in as normal a way as possible given his star status. I think it probably wasn't the best decision to make, but who doesn't make a bad choice now and then?? However, it IS Kid Rock, and he could smoke around me anytime!! (or drink, or swear, or anything he wants!)

Well what I think of this article is she has put in her two cents. Move on. Some people like to beat the same old dead horse....Poor dear probably has nothing better to do. Nothing more than a complainer. I would encourage her to go play in traffic. It did not sound as though she was having an attack. She could have kindly bowed down and removed herself from the issue if it was really that bad. Special treatment you say....Hell fucking ya. When you work each and every fucking day for each and every thing you have. Then you have this person thinking they should just be entitled to it. Uh...I don't think so. The last time I checked it was not illegal to drink. Unless you are under 21, Correct me if I am wrong. Thank the folks for the drinks and enjoy them.

Kid had a little buzz he lit up just because..................he said he was sorry so leave it alone what was done is DONE. Kid made a mistake his money you do not deserve to take. Well this is a pickle for the Hounds of Hell "a big middle finger in advance to all the haters and attorneys" they are going to have a field day with this! Ya it is a State Law, No your not suppose to do it, but your KID freaking Rock....come on she should have sucked it up..... took pictures.... then teased her kids with them.... it was a country concert! Rolling with it instead of trying to pin you with a non existing asthma attack because you lit up a stogie.....yes it was a drunk out moment, but I also bet that you were trying to relax with the NON ROCK STARS and the whip came out faster then her brain could spit out LAW SUIT in the making. So some stressed hater wants to get pissy and play....I think the infraction is a misdemeanor that can fine the establishment and the patron, as for her she has to live with your fans and everyone knows she probably hasn't been laid since you were BORN FREE in this now restricted AMERICA! (bet that is the real issue with that uptight want to be princess).

Ok it should be no suprise to anyone that a rockstar with alot of stress in his life goes to a concert and has a little to much to drink to chill out. Get over it people. If this guy really did have asthma did he think about politely telling Kid's security that. I'm sure Kid would have put it out. Oh wait a minute that wouln't have gotten this guy his 15 minutes of fame or a little easy money. Maybe I'm a little jaded but if this guy wasn't out to cause trouble he could have handled this then and there without all the controversy. Cigar smoke? Really some people get upset over nothing. Kid Rock has been trying to kill me for years. Most recently at the company Christmas party where I consumed a twelve pack of his Bad Ass Beer by myself. After having a violent reaction where i thought my intestines had left my body through my mouth. I came to realize life is way to short! My advice to Kid Rock Plead Insanity! You were seen at a Travis Tritt concert after all.

So let me get this straight, this author writes an article for The Detroit News that some people got upset when KR lit up a cigar at a non-smoking venue....Why is this news? The author should write something more appropriate for the section - like what KR does for a lot of unfortunate folks, the military, or trying to restore some glory to inner city Detroit. Get over it. Does KR get perks....or do celebrities get perks? You bet! Was it rude? Yeah. I'm sure the last thing KR wanted to do was ruin someone's night....he's human just like everyone else. Biggest thing he can do now is apologize. All that said, I have a little advice for the author, "Here's a quarter. Call someone who cares!"
